You treat them as two separate cases, since that's how they'll be treated after approval. Follow the instructions on the I-129F for using it for a spouse.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

This is my 2 cents. But did you know that now days CR1 visas take only a month longer or just as long as K3 visas, especially in Colombia? With a CR1 your spouse will be able to work as soon as she gets her social security #. With a K3 visa you will have to file for AOS which is $1,010 and wait at least 3-6 months for approval.

Food for thought.

But the thing is that all this time I've been consentrated on the I-129F and I have no idea what to do with the CR1 visa and I have no idea what the difference is!! Can you at least give me an idea about how to proceed with the CR1 because it true with the I-129F we will have to file for AOS and is WOW $1,010 and these days that is a lot of money!!

Right now...you really don't have to do anything except wait for your I-130 to be approved.

Have a look at the guides

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=guides

That said, even though the CR-1 is a better visa, and cheaper, and currently as fast as a K-3, that could change.

I personally don't see any harm in sending in your I-129f along with a copy of your NOA1 for your I-130 (no other docs needed)

but some folks here believe it may slow your case down. Personally, I feel there's an advantage in sending an I-129f petition as well.

Good luck

...the journey continues.
