Not indifferent, just realistic.....What do you suggest? So a guy says he moved because his neighborhood was filling with blacks? Turn that around.

Perhaps the blacks would leave that same neighborhood if too many whites moved back?

Perhaps blacks like to live amongst themselves in clusters, and so do Chinese (Chinatown), Poles, Hispanics, and other groups.....

Why is this a bad thing?

Its not a bad thing. Its a bad thing when racism creates segregation not borne out of people's volition. As it was in the past.

Chicago is a prime example of that cause-effect relationship, and while racism may not be the present day creator of one of the most racially segregated cities in the nation, economical racism sure has a little bit to do with it- as well as passive acceptance of the problem.
