Forget the Great Depression! How about the now Depression lol He should find lots of current economic and financial things to study.

Congrats on the interview and I'm glad to hear that you finally have a date to count down to!

hehehe kelly, I already made a chart at my desk to X off the days! I hope when he comes home we can meet you and Sofyan for dinner. His interest in finances tho might make you crazy!

He's all in a puff these days over some investment company in Jordan taking money from people and now they lost their money. I told him to study The Great Depression and now he's ALL over that!

Thanks Jackie and Ash  .....I appreciate your ideas...and I am thinking along the same lines.....gosh...I can't wait for Esmat to get here so he can be in charge of all this stuff....I can see wood swelling like that because it is very porous..and it is wood frame, wood sub floor, wood parquet....and it was looking so pretty when I had the carpet laid 2 years ago.

No matter where you are in the world you will probably be able to hear me scream when my dad pulls up the carpet tomorrow morning...hahaha!!!! I will be screaming for one of two reasons....1) BUGS  OR 2) $$$$ Realizing the expense to fix this. Whatever it is...I can tell the floor is ruined and will definitely need to be replaced.....around that area anyway..oh boy.

I can't stop thinking about it....

Hope everyone has a great day...

Ashley-Would love to get together real soon!!

Deb :star:

If it's a leak from a pipe in your house you'll be covered by insurance. All depends on where the water (if that's the case) is coming from. Not sure about coverage for bugs, that may depend on your homeowners policy. Good luck!

Congrats Jackie!!!!

Ganja girl I was not made to work either. I'd be perfectly happy being a little stay at home mom/wifey going to the pta coffees, volunteering in the schools, walking the beach with the other moms that I see in the morning. *sigh*

Hey All - Happy Thursday! I hope everyone is doing well today. I had a crazy scare last night - I woke up at 2 am to go to the little girl's room and realized I was not well - cold sweats, dizzy, etc. Well then, I checked my blood sugars - a measly 59!!! :dead::unsure: Somehow during the evening I had managed to give myself too much insulin...should have been normal, but now that I'm walking 3 miles a day I think my body/metabolism is freaking out. Like what the hell are you doing to me???? I had to practically stumble downstairs to get some juice, milk and a half a peanut butter sandwich. At 3am I finally felt better and went back upstairs. At 6 am I was still only at 82 - normal, but my body is doing something crazy. I felt like a truck had hit me this morning so I told my hubby to do his own thing and that I would go into work around 10. I'm not a 100% - but a good 75%. Sheesh - I wish I was normal. Whatever that is. :protest:

Jackie - I give you the woot woot on your good news!!!!:dance::dance:

Bridget - the Best Life diet is very good. Very normal actually. Even though I don't really do it, I try to buy Best Life approved items.

Deb, so sorry about your bugs/flooring issue. Yuckie!

Jess - gallbladder surgery nowadays is super easy - they just take it out laparascopically. You're gonna love it!

Aside from that, I hope everyone has a great day. Tis only one more day til Friday. Yee haw!
