March 7, 2005: I-129F NOA1

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

We live to see another game! Yay!

Do you have any fingernails left??? whoa what a game.

Only on one hand. Plus, my nervous tic seems to have made a comeback. Oh well--I guess I've brought all this on myself. Not that I'm a superstitious nutjob or anything, but I changed T-shirts in the sixth inning.

Anyone watching the World Series?

I couldn't update this thread--apologies to its many, many ardent followers--because I was in too much of a funk after Sunday's game. Waaaaah! I have to say, though, ALCS Game 5 was probably the most exciting single game I've ever seen.

I don't watch sports really but have wanted to know who won lately since Tampa was in...and yay for Tampa getting to the World Series! I didn't watch any of the games though. People in Tampa are extremely excited, the local news, people getting mohawks, etc. We could have gone last Saturday to the play off game in St. Petersburg because our neighbor had tickets and couldn't go last minute! But we couldn't go either...it was 5pm and we are 1.5 hours from the stadium in St. Pete. I don't watch baseball but I might have gone if we knew ahead of time.
