Missing document letter

Hello All,

I have submitted my I-864. I have not paid my IV fee because I am waiting on some documents for DS-230.

I received a letter from NVC stating that "NVC has received affidavit of support. However, we are still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Fee"

The cover letter says to include the copy of this letter for all correspondence. Also there is a Checklist Letter Response page with barcode. It says you must return this page with your documentation. Failure to do so may result in delay in processing.

1) I was going to pay IV fee online. Does it mean I can't pay it online now?

2) Is this a false RFE since I have not submitted IV fee yet?

You are at STEP 3 of Jame's guide, you can pay the fee on-line.

Also sounds like you are CR-1 how about filling in that detail in your profile? And your SO is from some country other than N/A.

But, my question is not answered. Since they are requesting all the documents mentioned in my earlier post, can I still pay IV online OR I have to snail mail it with the mentioned docs?

Can somebody else who knows about this answer?

You can pay on line, and then later mail the requested docs when you have them, they will wait for you to send what they request, payment and mailing of docs don't need to happen at the same time.

did you get from them form I 864,becaus eI paid online but I don't have not yet that fromfrom them
