What the heck is going on here.

Even I got my interview date notice today! March 11th! Something must not be right, cause I am away for two weeks and I asked my wife (I have thus far handled everything pretty much) and she said, no today we got an interview notice! Are there other interviews or is this it...the one!?

I cant believe my ears!!!! Hopefully soon my eyes. I felt so far behind you all, and now it seems we are all getting close to that finish line! Please make sure you all update your status/timelines so we know what or how your interviews went and where you at. There are so many of us now. Hopefully soon there will be none ;)

Congrats and good luck to all! PS. Whats all this about 'preparing'? Just the proper paper work and some photos and bills is all we need no? Is there a good thread rgd this for those who have been? OK off to celebrate!!!!!!:star::dance:

Congrads TonyDanza on getting your interview notice and I am very glad to hear from you, we havent seen you around in a long while. Oh you have to prepare all of your bonafide marriage documents, such as organizing your photos in a photo album, and put all of your co-mingling finances, such as joint bank accounts, bills in both names, in a file organizer thats type of thing. Good luck to you.

Hey Eileen how are you? Nice to hear from you and congrads on getting approved for your EAD and getting your interview letter as well, fantastic news :dance: . I knew you would hear something from USCIS. Now you got to go and get your SSN card and prepare for your interview.

Hi Canadianmade, finally found our topic, thank you very much.

I got my SSN card in July 2008 just right after i entered USA. And my hubby file tax for marrage joint last Sat, also received a email said it is accepted!

Nope, nothing changed on our USCIS account until the afternoon when I got the email. The last updated date we had was from months before... either the Biometrics or the NOA1, I can't remember which. I filed the service request for the EAD only, but we were approved for both the EAD and AP 10 days later. Hope you hear something soon!!

And now for some good news of our own...

Finally EAD AND AP ARE APPROVED! :star::dance::star::dance:

It took 102 days, but on Jan 27th we received the email that we were approved for both.

And to those still waiting, calling USCIS for a Service Request seemed to help us. They said we would hear something within 15 days and we were approved in 10. Just an idea...

I was wondering -- did you see any movement in your file on USCIS between the time you put in your service request and the time you were approved? It's just getting so frustrating to go on the site and see the same dates --- on our AP the only date is when they received it and on the EAD, its just after the biometric. We put in a service request last Thursday!

Thanks for the reply. I was just under the impression that whenever the file was "touched", the dates would update. That would make it a little more reassuring that they are really looking into the delay. We're in a new week -- hopefully something will happen! Thanks again!

Hey guys how are you? Sorry to hear that you guys havent heard any word from USCIS about your case. I can imagine you guys will hear something from them soon. My wife and I are in limbo with them right now waiting for the results of our interview we had last week Tuesday. I hope we do get approved and get the green card. I saw in the Canada thread that you guys applied for a NEXUS card, how do you go about that and what kinds of questions do they ask you at the interview? Wish you guys luck and hope you guys get your green card in time of your 2nd reception in April.

I have a question - when you go to interview and you take your bank account information, did anyone (or do you plan to) black out the account number or anything? Am I being super paranoid?! Thanks!
