Congratulations to all of the Green Card approvals!! :)

I'm going in tomorrow for 9:30 AM interview... Hopefully I have good story to share!

Here are the items we are taking:

- joint account bank statements (past 3 months)

- copy of my associate profile from work where his name is listed as spouse

- my 401k statement where his name is stated as beneficiary

- church membership card and letter that listed both of our names

- traveling itinerary (trip to Korea) that listed both of our names

- about 10 cards/letters we sent to each other before we got married

- tons of pictures with family, friends and at the wedding

- taking all the USCIS issued items, and tax returns, pay stub

We don't have any lease together because I already owned a house before we got married and it was pain to add his name to the bills since everything required his SSN, and he didn't get his until 2 wks ago. :(

Hopefully our interview goes smoothly.

Looks good to me shieun, and good luck to you on your interview tommorrow, and I know you will get approved. Bring us oct filers an approval.

We're doing great! Thanks.I just received yesterday my driver license! Yeah!! I am really happy I won't have to show my passeport anymore (at least except in airports)! :P

My AOS case has been touched once last week; so any special news yet, but still, it always feels good to see that someone is moving or looking at my files!! Seeing so many approvals from the october filers brings good hopes too! ;)

Anyways, good luck again on your interview!

Hi Pam&Josh I am glad to hear you guys are doing good. Congrads on receiving your drivers license. Yeah I know the feeling, I too recently got my temporary drivers license too, so I no longer have to use my passport for ID. At least you know that someone is looking at your case for the moment and I do hope you do get an interview letter soon. Thank you for the good luck on my interview and will let everyone know how it went.

best of luck tomorrow shieun...

i would recommend more joint financial information particularly if you are using bank statements older ones too. we took all of ours from our account and the adjudicator took a variety of them but was interested in the history showing long term comingling. and any other joint bills you may have. they don't take the whole load but they do take some from across the board. good luck and bring back good news for us!

Congrats to all you two year GC holders. We haven't had an AOS touch since November. Still, it will come and least the EAD and AP are here.

Do any of you know if the two-year GC is good from the date you applied or from the date you get approved?

Just wondering.

Again, well done!!!

:star: :star: :star: :star: Congrats ez2007, Kang Lang, kingtmac, and Irene & David! :star: :star: :star: :star:

Great to hear your wonderful news! Also, thanks ez2007 for the Seattle run down. Assuming we have an interview, we will be heading to the same office. Nice to have an idea of what to expect.

Congrats to all!

Hello Fellow October Filers :star:

We had our interview yesterday, Jan. 27th, in Seattle. The IO was a nice guy. He made us swear that we would tell nothing but the truth. He went through my papers first while asking my husband questions on how we met and they talked about his job. As they were talking, I had readied the copies of the supporting papers which I submitted for the three of us, for my 2 children and mine.

The atmosphere was not tensed as he was a cordial person. Then he asked me for joint account bank statements, car insurance, and health insurance. Then, he stamped my papers with "APPROVED" :star:

Next, he asked my 12-year-old son of his name, age and how was he doing in school while checking his papers. He then stamped it with "APPROVED" :star:

My 7-year-old daughter was the last. He was so amused because she's talkative and told him how her classmates mispronounced her name. He also stamped her papers "APPROVED".

It later became a flowing conversation regarding the dialects in my country. He then told us that so far our papers have no problem and we are approved but another person would check them again. They would just call me if in case they would need something ( hopefully all goes well) :innocent:

He said the green card will arrive in the mail and we should file for the removing of conditions 90 days before the expiration date but not to wait for a week before it expires.

Congrats to us all who have been approved lately

And now for some good news of our own...

Finally EAD AND AP ARE APPROVED! :star::dance::star::dance:

It took 102 days, but on Jan 27th we received the email that we were approved for both. I saw a few other folks were approved the same day, so good work to whichever adjudicator busted out some serious paperwork that day! hehe

Rosie, you can check us off that list! And to those still waiting, calling USCIS for a Service Request seemed to help us. They said we would hear something within 15 days and we were approved in 10. Just an idea...

Thanks to all who sent their thoughts and kind words! AOS here we come!
