Just checked and our AOS case was touched today. First time since early December. Hoping this is it!

Ours was touched today too -- hopefully that means they're wanting to move some approvals out soon!

I received a very cryptic e-mail update from CRIS:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

My application was transferred to CSC in November and I have not received an interview appointment. Could somebody please shed light on what this e-mail means?

2008

10 Oct - Arrived in the US on K-1 visa

12 Oct - Legally married! We'll have the ceremony and the reception in Spring '09.

18 Oct - Visited civil surgeon for vaccination records

29 Oct - Mailed I-485 packet to USCIS Chicago lockbox

31 Oct - Packet received by USCIS [Day 1]

06 Nov - NOAs for I-485, I-765 and I-131

14 Nov - Biometrics appointment notice date

19 Nov - I-485 application transferred to CSC

04 Dec - Biometrics appointment [Day 35]

05 Dec - I-485 and I-765 touched [probably attached biometrics info to my records]

2009

05 Jan - EAD card production ordered and AP approval notice sent! Received e-mails from CRIS. [Day 67]

12 Jan - Received EAD card and AP documents. [Day 74]

13 Mar - Received RFE from CSC for I-865 and "missing" medical forms

31 Mar - Response to RFE sent to CSC

23 Apr - I-485 approved! Received e-mail from CRIS. [Day 175]

25 Apr - Received green card, which is not green at all! Done with USCIS for 21 months! [Day 177]

hi everyone!

wow its been a while since i last checked the forum and im sooo glad to see more

approvals and interview schedule. good luck to those who have their interview soon and bring us the good news.

my case was transfered to CSC and i havent receive any mail regarding an interview...hope that means i will receive

We had the same message too a few days after being transferred to CSC, called USCIS to find out if it was at my local office and they said it is still at CSC. CSC is also considered a USCIS "office". Good Luck

Good luck to you Kang Lang.. I'm sure you have enough evidence, and you will get approved today!

Let us know how it goes!!

ok panic has officially set in! we are 17 hours from interview...husband isn't even worried but me (the usc) is a basket case! i have a question on the interview letter it says the following:

bring any immigration related document ever issued to you? what all does that encompass? of course we have the ead and ap docs and the passport w/ original visa but not all the docs from the k-1 since the lawyer we used for that portion won't return them to us.

i must have looked at this stuff a million times but still feel as though something is missing!

My request is STILL at the national benefits center. Is this normal? I sent my RFE back a long time ago but there has been no updates since then and my wife is getting antsy.

It seems that most of the fellow K-1 filers are having troubles with their processing and nothing seems to go smoothly. Why is this?

Hopefully, the EAD will come soon...
