Rosie, I think I figured out that ASC is the "Application Support Center" as it says under the Biometrics section of the letter - it must be a code as to what we will have done? Anyone else know? I have a 2 and a 3 on mine...

Apparently:

Code 1 – collect full set of fingerprints.

Code 2 – collect biometrics only (photo, pressed print, and signature).

Code 3 – collect both 1 and 2 above (full fingerprints and biometrics).

Thanks Kimcorene! Looks like the I-485 needs the whole nine yards then. Anyway, I hope they get my good side for my picture!

I see you got an RFE - did you find that out online? And you were finally able to add the other receipt!

Yeah, I decided to try this morning- and that's what popped up. Fortunately, I'm already prepared for the RFE, so as soon as I get it I'll mail the correct I-693 back to them.

The lovely doctor had the old form. I took my own but I was told that they have their own, my aunt picked up the medical and mailed the package and I went by her house later that night only to be greeted with a copy of he old form  . Needless to say, I was quite peeved. So I went back the next day, cussed them out and got the results transcribed to the correct version. So, I knew the RFE was coming.

Ugh! I had one printed out also when I went to the Docs office and they said the same thing! I just wanted to use the one I KNEW was current, but no...Anyway, they ended up using the right one because they gave me a copy and it was the first thing I checked! Watch me go back and look to make sure now!!!

congrats to those who have sent thus far.

We sent ours earlier this month after delaying it 2 months after getting married.

Part of the reason for this was confusion with the changed vaccinations requirements and what constituted a completed I-693 supplement.

We were RFE'd for the EAD because we had an outdated version of the I-765 (didn't pay attention to details)

My wife has recently received her biometrics appointment for election day but we may have to change it base don business travel - hopefully not.

Best of luck to those about to apply or who are waiting for approval, like us.

That's funny! Hey does anyone know what that "ASC code" means? It's on the I-485 and I-765 receipts?

hi beantown...

asc is the service center, so you mail everything to chicago but no actual processing happens there it is sent somewhere else for processing. i think asc is application support center that's what's at the top of the biometrics letter we got.

good luck!

thanks everyone!

welcome to all the new filers.

hey kimcorene,

were you ever able to register your receipts online?

Im still unable to register online. :( I know I am not KIMCORENE but just figured I would mention my issue. lol. Still no biometrics letter or anything back apart from the NOA. Some people are getting their bio letters quicker and mine got there on the 2nd. :(

what a pain! in some ways it might be better for someone like me who can't resist looking at the dang website every day, even though i know nothing will happen until after his biometrics are processed next week.

good luck!

welcome to the "party" new filers

My doctor did a weird thing... he used the pages that didn't change of the old form, and he used the new form for the vaccination sheet and other pages that had changes  Why didn't he just print the whole new form.. I will never know! I'm just hoping it will be accepted!
