I had my "cancelled" interview appointment at the Mount Laurel Office this morning. I went just in case. The doors were locked but they let us in and then someone told us they were closed because of the inauguration. The good thing was that they showed me a letter for my new interview appointment which they had sent to the wrong address (my old one). So, if I hadn't gone I might not have received my new interview date. All nervous for nothing!!!!!

I'm with you CourtandGrey. Looking at your signature there was probably a big delay while you dealt with that RFE, that's probably why you still don't have it.

As for me, I got my AP earlier, but I'm STILL waiting for EAD. It's getting very close to the 90-day limit for me now.

Yes we are. We got a RFE on our I485 and that has been transferred to CSC, but the AP and the EAD, there hasn't been any movement on them since the biometrics. My wife's ready to go back to Mexico where she at least was making some money.

Hi all,

I have my interview in March and the one thing that has been floating around in my head is my 20-month old daughter! Do you think there would be any drawbacks to taking her to the interview? It's really a case of necessity since I stay home with her and we have no other care whatsoever for her. She HAS to come - and I want her to as well but I keep thinking of possibilities of things going wrong! Do you think I'm over-worrying it or is it a real concern? Anyone have any thoughts?

Hi Beantownbabe, I have read many threads in here that people who have kids were allowed and did bring their kids to the interview. I am sure it wont be a problem since you mentioned you dont have a babysitter, and I am sure they will be understanding to your situation.

Thanks Canadianmade. I don't think it should be a problem either, like I said I have no choice in the matter really! I'll be sure to bring lots of bribes with me...

How are everyone's interview documents coming along? I have begun putting together my file and am waiting for our first joint bank account statement which I will include. Everyone else doing okay?

Your welcome Beantown and I can only imagine it will be fine, and plus it will definately show that you have a real marriage, not saying you didnt if you didnt have a baby, but you know what I mean. Did you know bribing an IO is against the law LOL j/k, I know what you mean though.

Our interview documents is coming along very nicely actually, and we are pretty much done putting everything together, the photo album, documents etc etc.

The evidence we are bringing to the interview: Photos of my wifes and I wedding, random photos of the both of us on holidays, memorial day, independance day, birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, photos of us at friends and familys house, pictures of us at my mother in laws b-day in the nursing home. Our certified copy of marriage license, joint bank account, life insurance papers, medical, vision and dental forms and insurance cards, afadavit from our friend stating we are living with them, all necessary IDs( passport, birth certificates, my EAD card, both of our SSNs), my wifes divorce decree, my step sons emergency contact form from school stating, I am an emergency contact, 2 months worth of paystubs from wifes job, wedding, birthday and christmas cards to both of us, income tax, my round trip bus ticket proving I had no intentions on staying the last time I enetered the US and a copy of the entire AOS package.

Do you guys think this is good evidence?
