I received the AP document today! Is it supposed to not be stamped under "National Benefits Center Parole Stamp"?

Mine doesn't have that stamp either so I'm going to say no.

Can I ask everyone, is there another name and signature over the photograph of you? Mine says Robert M. Cowan and his signature.

Anyone?

Congrads Court&Grey for getting your EAD approved!!! :dance:

I wish... we are actually still waiting... grrr... :angry:

I am over 90 days since we sent in AOS with EAD... Got an RFE for only the I-485 which we sent back out almost immediately back in early November has been touched since in middle of December...

online case shows that the EAD hasnt been touched since November 6th.. I called the USCIS but the info was ambiguos.. said to wait 60 days more if you had an RFE... well it has been 60 days since the RFE but that was for the I-485 not the EAD....

Grandoner, I feel you. We are in the same boat and are going to hit our 90 days this week. I have talked to USCIS a few times and they said we are now eligible to file a Service Request, which they say will go to the adjudicator that has our case and tell them to get on it now. I made it clear to USCIS that the RFE was not related to the EAD or AP. They even confirmed that was the case and said there was no reason for those to be held up because of an AOS RFE. I would give them another call and hope for a friendly person. Every time I call, they are super helpful. I am calling tomorrow to file the Service Request.

We submitted our package on October too, but this is our first post!We actually want to share our worries with u! We submitted our package (AOS+EAD+PA) on October13, 2008, did our Biometrics on Novermber 14, 2008 and our case was transfered to CSC on November4, 2008. That is all!!We check our status on the USCIS website and nothing there, even one single touch!!! No news even about the EAD and PA!!!It's been three months now since we have applied!! Any advice?! Similar expreince?!!Should we call?Plz advise!!

Right there with you. Definitely call USCIS. As I mentioned above, they have always been super nice when I call. It certainly won't hurt to check in on things.

Also... is it true an InfoPass will get you an instant approval? My EAD and AP have not been transferred anywhere yet, so I don't know that going to my local office would help, since my file doesn't seem to be there. Argh... so complicated.

01-24-2008 = Sent I-129F to CSC

01-29-2008 = NOA1 Issued

05-28-2008 = NOA2 (125 days after NOA1)

06-02-2008 = NOA2 Hardcopy received; NVC received petition

06-04-2008 = NVC sent package to Costa Rica

06-10-2008 = Embassy received

06-13-2008 = Picked up Packet 3

06-25-2008 = Interview (28 days after NOA2)

07-05-2008 = Home to the U.S. together!

09-20-2008 = Wedding!

AOS/EAD/AP TIMELINE:

10-15-2008 = Sent giant packet to Lockbox

10-22-2008 = NOA1's Issued

11-04-2008 = RFE on AOS only: need birth certificate, ORIGINAL was taken at interview. GRRR

11-24-2008 = Biometrics

12-22-2008 = Mailed RFE packet back

01-02-2009 = AOS processing resumed

01-16-2009 = Service Request filed for EAD (90 days with no news)

01-27-2009 = EAD and AP approved (102 days after NOA1's)

03-12-2009 = AOS Interview, APPROVED!

REMOVING CONDITIONS TIMELINE:

02-18-2011 = Sent packet to CSC

02-22-2011 = NOA1 Issued

03-21-2011 = Biometrics

04-26-2011 = APPROVED!

DONE WITH USCIS FOR 10 YEARS!!

Did anyone apply for their driver's license and only got the length of time till the expiration of the EAD? I had a license where i went to college, so all i had to do was a vision exam, didn't have to do the rules of the road and road test. My license expired November of last yr so I went to the DMV and only got a one year license. Anyone else experience this? I also start a new job this Tuesday but its like 38 days till my interview..I will keep checking everyone else progress cuz I know there are alot more interviews before mine.

CONGRATS ON APPROVALS GUYS! PLEASE BRING HOME MORE GREEN CARDS AND LET US KNOW OF YOUR EXPERIENCE.
