Hey all- I had my biometrics appointment today. After waiting three months, I was out f there in ten mins. It was at 11 but we got there early so we were actually out of there by 11. Let's hope we have continued progress and they don't revert to snail's pace. Good luck to all with upcoming interviews and congrats to all the people received EADs and APs.

Finally! Congratulations on getting it out of the way! Pretty simple and straight forward, huh?! Speed on from here!

Where's Eli/Barrow? Oh yes, he can only take so much good news so he's out getting hammered tonight! Have one for all of us!!!

Hey fellow October filers, I finally received my EAD in the mail today!!!!!!!!!!! :dance: I am going to apply for an SSN on monday and I heard something that you can get your drivers license at the BMV with an SSN when I get it and the EAD card is that true.

I would assume so. I got mine in Oregon with my SS Card and my i-94. Thank god.

Congratulations! I just received my new SS ccard in the mail today. In Massachusetts it is a requirement that you have the card PLUS three other forms of I.D for a driving license. The three I.D's must prove Residence, Date of Birth and Signature. So depending on what other documents you have, you can use your EAD also. I'm not sure if this is the same in every state, you'd have to check but I know that's how it goes here.

Thank you Beantownbabe for the congrads and for the info about getting a SSC and drivers license, I will definately look into it as I do want to apply for these things. Sorry it took a couple of days to reply back.

I am over 90 days since we sent in AOS with EAD... Got an RFE for only the I-485 which we sent back out almost immediately back in early November has been touched since in middle of December...

online case shows that the EAD hasnt been touched since November 6th.. I called the USCIS but the info was ambiguos.. said to wait 60 days more if you had an RFE... well it has been 60 days since the RFE but that was for the I-485 not the EAD....

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

Mary just got her EAD card in the mail last week. So she has her Wisconsin drivers license, ss card, ead, and even her own credit card... all we need is that GC. We don't have to be in Toronto until late April, but it'd be nice to go at the end of February for our nephew's birthday. She hasnt seen her family (except for parents) since the wedding, 3 months ago.

Hey Grandoner, sorry to hear the troubles your going through right now and talking to USCIS is such a waste of time because they don't reassure you at all, they just tell you a bunch of info that you already know and is on your portofilio on your USCIS account. I do hope something is done soon. Good luck to you my friend and update us on any news you get.
