yay! I received EAD on Sunday!

I know mailman don't work on Sundays so I must received it on 18th or 19th.

It's been so cold and raining, I didn't wanna go outside.

I've been busy doing last minutes Christmas shopping.

I'm so tired of going to packed mall, but looking at Christmas tree and presents makes me happy.

I can't wait to find out what my hubby get for me this time!

K. I should go back to wrapping the gifts while my husband is gone, and go find some more gifts.

Ok, so I just got an "Approval Notice sent" email from CRIS. Just send me the card, would ya?!!!

I just received a 2nd e-mail saying they ordered my EAD! :angry:

I really want to work, so I hope it won't take too long from now...

June 9th 2012 - Application sent

June 14th 2012 - NOA sent

June 28th - Biometrics letter sent -- July 26th Appointment date

July 12th 2012 - Early Biometrics/Walk-in

August ( ) - Interview letter received -- September 14th Interview date

September 14th 2012 - Interview! Oath date in hand, September 20th @ noon!

It came at 7:30 am. So we all have two "card production ordered" emails and now an "approval notice sent" on the EAD. I figure this last one means they mailed the card. The AP notice said "approval notice sent" and what came in the mail was the actual AP.

Well probably not me. Y'all seem to live closer to the EAD place (Missouri? Chicago? I have no idea!) and my mail has to make it way down to Texas. So one of you is buying the drinks. :star:

I know you are excited, I would be too, the interview notice is great, i was much more concerned with getting that than the EAD. Went down to the DMV and they only issue the DL for a the period on the EAD card. duh! I was a student and had a 5 yr DL but i was in a state that was not very strict with immigration at the time but yea I'm happy for you and I hope more keep coming for October filers.

Yes its a wonderful feeling to know that your hard work is paying off and i see you got some great news as well today..Congrats on getting your interview notice today..You will fill us in on your interview because its before mine and you know that your EAD paperwork is gonna get touched.. and production of your card..i say maybe in two weeks because you are almost on on your 60th day.

Hey VJ Members and my fellow October filers,

After a long day shopping with my hubby, came back to check my mailbox, and there was my EAD and interview letter. My interview date is set for February 24th @ 8am. GOD IS GREAT Y'LL.. I called my parents in my home country immediately and they were so overjoyed to hear such great news. :thumbs::dance:

And all the others who got their card production ordered, my EAD came in the mail 10 days after. So interview notices are in order for you guys who got EAD approvals. I had a very good time on this website and i will stay until I'm ready to file for citizenship. For those who are awaiting biometrics and EAD, AP approvals, stay on it, make necessary calls, call them everyday if you have to and thanks to everyone and i will be online checking frequently on everyone's progress and all the excitement.

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! :dance:

Hey SweetnSexc congrads to you on receiving your EAD and interview letter in the mail, now that is what you call a good early Christmas. I am glad to hear your parents are overjoyed and they should be, congrats once again. Wow that is nice to get mail like that. Really nice words of encouragement SweetnSexc to all of the filers here. Have a good Christmas.

I totally agree with you SweetnSexc, our hard work has definately paid off. It sure is nice to know that USCIS is actually working and we the people who filed are getting the necessary answers we rightfully deserve instead of getting the run around and half ### answers from customer service. Thank you for the congrads, I am really excited as you can probably tell. I will definately share my interview experience with everyone, absouletly. I hope you also fill us about your interview experience as well. I will be looking out for the EAD, but by the time I get it, it will be only a few weeks till my interview, so I will definately just wait for my green card to find a job, get my drivers licences, register for school and travel.

Hey Kimcorene,

Sorry to hear about your progress, I pray that you will hear something very soon from them. We both filed on the same day and I dont understand how your biometrics isn't done yet. When you called for a service request, what reason did you give to them?Did you get a leeter about the service request and a reference number or something? As someone else in commented, why dont your hubby call and explain to them or something, maybe that will help. I know its frustrating, trust me, I know... but dont get discouraged, stay on it and try keeping yourself busy. Hopefully you will get a response sooner than you think.

Thank you Kim, I sound like a broken record in here, but I am so shocked and I totally didnt know it was going to be the way it was and I am totally blessed and have no complaints about anything knowing now my process was so quick and smooth. Have you heard any word about your biometrics appointment yet? Sorry you have to be going through this mess with USCIS and hopefully you will get that bio appointment letter soon. Merry Christmas to you.

Nope, still haven't heard anything- and it's getting a little frustrating now. I'm stuck at home and have to take the bus cause I don't have a license and it takes forever for me to get anywhere. I'm hoping I'll hear something soon, though.
