Anyway, so I got another CRIS email at 9pm this evening saying that they had ordered my card...again?! I guess they really mean it this time, huh?! I read a couple of other posts on different threads saying that they do that when they are about to send your card - I wonder if there is any truth to it, we shall see. So, yes, another touch on I-765 today.

It happened to me too!! I got another "Card Production Ordered" email on the 18th.. we shall see how long it takes to actually receive the card! :blink:

Me three! Got two emails saying "Card Production Ordered." One said "On Dec. 11.....card production ordered", etc. and the other said "On Dec. 17.......etc (same exact words.) So I guess they ordered it twice. :blink: I'll believe it when the card arrives.

Okay, so whoever gets theirs first buys the drinks, right?!!!

Hey guys I also have some very very good news to share with everyone in here. Like SweetnSexc, I checked my mailbox, and I also received an interview letter in the mail. I was so shocked, and I originally thought it was an RFE letter, so I had to read the letter again to make sure my eyes was not playing tricks with me. It was an interview letter, my wife, and I were so excited to receive such good news before Christmas, WOW. I am so friggin stoked, you guys have no idea. I am on clould nine guys. My interview is scheduled for Feb, 3 2009 @2pm. The weird thing is I havent heard any word about my EAD and I am a late filer, so I didnt expect to hear any news until the new yr, but hey I will take it.

I personally want to thank everyone on this thread for their advice and help in this process, thank you guys. I also want to tell everyone, that anything can happen in the immigration process, you just never know and good news is coming to everyone in here. Congrads to everyone in here on their AP, EAD approvals and interview letters. For those who are still waiting, good news is coming sooner than you know it and keep your head up. I honestly never thought I would be this lucky honestly. I will still be around here, I love VJ, I will be here till I get citizenship, and I sure do want to be around here to see everyones process. I definately have met some very cool people in here, and I am very glad to have met everyone in here and go through the same process with everyone, it sure isnt easy, I will tell you that. Good luck everyone and I cant wait to hear others in here share good news.

Hey VJ Members and my fellow October filers,

After a long day shopping with my hubby, came back to check my mailbox, and there was my EAD and interview letter. My interview date is set for February 24th @ 8am. GOD IS GREAT Y'LL.. I called my parents in my home country immediately and they were so overjoyed to hear such great news. :thumbs::dance:

And all the others who got their card production ordered, my EAD came in the mail 10 days after. So interview notices are in order for you guys who got EAD approvals. I had a very good time on this website and i will stay until I'm ready to file for citizenship. For those who are awaiting biometrics and EAD, AP approvals, stay on it, make necessary calls, call them everyday if you have to and thanks to everyone and i will be online checking frequently on everyone's progress and all the excitement.

atm im in vacation in VA and My wife still in CA just called telling me I received my interview in february 2 2009

I didnt hear anything about my EAD too

hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a couple of questions.

has anyone ever heard of expediting a case? how does it go about? or under what circumstance can you request one?

My husband just got laid off from work, he works for a bank, so you know how that goes. it would be so much more easier for us if we both were working without having to deal with the stress. If anyone knows anything, your replies would be greatly appreciated.

I tried calling our catholic community services lawyer who helped us, but he is on vacation until january.

please please help.

Thank you Kim, I sound like a broken record in here, but I am so shocked and I totally didnt know it was going to be the way it was and I am totally blessed and have no complaints about anything knowing now my process was so quick and smooth. Gosh, I'm so sorry for you. I though I'm in a bad situation stuck home but now I see I was wrong. I hope Christmas will bring good news your way. And comeon USCIS, you are leaving some people out!

PS. I was just thinking, maybe your hubby should call and talk on your behalf??? USCIS looks like paying more attention to citizens...

04/10/06: Arrive in USA on F1 visa.

08/15/08: Marry the most amazing woman in the world.

10/08/08: Sent AOS package to USCIS.

10/13/08: Package Delivered (I-131,I-765,I-130,I-485.)

10/20/08: Checks Cashed.

10/24/08: NOA's in mail for all, all receipt numbers show online.

10/28/08: Biometrics Appointment letter received for 11/13/08

11/13/08: Biometrics completed successfully, case touched online also i presume because of Biometrics

11/24/08: NOA for Interview

12/13/08: AP Approval letter sent out

Hi Terri how are you? I am so sorry to hear about your husband being laid off from his job, it is such terrible news to get right before Christmas. The US enconomy is terrible. Yes I have heard of expediting a case before. I know you would have to call the USCIS customer service number and then you would explain your situation as you did here and usually they expedite a case, for people who havent received nor heard any word from USCIS about their EAD and AP within or after 90 days, but USCIS also says if you dont hear anything in 75 days you can expedite it, just a bunch of confusing rules sometimes. In your situation, I think you have a very good shot at expediting your case because in your situation it would be financial as your US spouse got laid off from his job and you need your EAD to make ends meet and contribute to your household. I hope you do get your case expedited and good luck. Merry Christmas to you.
