Hey All! It looks as if I will be offically joining the oct. Filers Club tomorrow morning. :P I did not use a lawyer this time (I did for the K1 visa), so if anyone would be so kind as to take a peek at my doc list and let me know if I am missing anything. This list includes both the K1/K2. Thanks!!

All of these are arranged in distinct groups according to who's form it is. They are not all lumped together. What a pile of paperwork!

hi there,

looks good, maybe another set of eyes would be good though! we sent a copy of our wedding cert and at the bottom of the cover sheet i indicated that these were copies and that originals would be presented if asked. i included paystubs, better substantiating the letter of employment. i couldn't find all six months so i sent off the most current 5 months and a letter of employment and was accepted thus far just fine. on the form it says that you don't HAVE to include the previous years tax returns only 1 is required. i didn't include them since i am well over the poverty line figuring there was no concern there but i did fill out the earnings portion from 2005 and 2006 on the form to show a track record of earnings. if we have an interview or an rfe (gosh i hope not!!) i will just call my accountant and have copies sent to us or call the irs and get a transcript.

good luck and welcome to the october filers club everybody!

My hubby hasn't even asked me anything,lol- I think he has forgotten all about this after he signed the papers. His only concern is that I'm here with him, but he isn't concerned about the details of how that will happen. I wish I could be so carefree and nonchalant

No! I'm here too, but I'm a stay-at-home-mom October filer! You'd think my little one would be enough to keep my mind off of this stuff, but no - as soon as she goes down for a nap, here I am again!!!

We don't have any kids yet so I'm home alone with the dog, All my friends are working or back home in Jamaica- so I pretty much spend my days online, or occasionally running an errand. I cant wait to get my work permit- not for the income but for something to do!

I hear you...at least you have the dog to keep you company! And the fact that you are in the sun and not holed up with bad weather is a plus too. Hopefully things will go speedily for you and you'll have plenty of work to keep you occupied in the not too distant future! Yours appears to be moving along smoothly so far...

Well, granted the weather is lovely- much hotter than what I'm used to in Jamaica- so I try not to go out in the middle of the day. I hope all goes well with all of us- this is such a nerve-wracking process.
