BTW just wanted to say congrats on everyones cases that are moving along smoothly without probs. I know I havent talked much just been busy working and worried about our own case. I hope my case eventually gets to smooth sailing SOON!

understandable my case has gone smoothly and im nervous i can't imagine how you feel. Good luck i'm sure it will start moving along for you very soon

04/10/06: Arrive in USA on F1 visa.

08/15/08: Marry the most amazing woman in the world.

10/08/08: Sent AOS package to USCIS.

10/13/08: Package Delivered (I-131,I-765,I-130,I-485.)

10/20/08: Checks Cashed.

10/24/08: NOA's in mail for all, all receipt numbers show online.

10/28/08: Biometrics Appointment letter received for 11/13/08

11/13/08: Biometrics completed successfully, case touched online also i presume because of Biometrics

11/24/08: NOA for Interview

12/13/08: AP Approval letter sent out

12/18/08: EAD Card production ordered

12/20/08: AP arrives in mailbox

12/23/08: EAD Approval notice sent

01/20/09: Interview date in Mount Laurel, NJ (Cancelled but will still be attending this one also, realized why it was cancelled.....Inaugeration)

02/11/09: New interview date (Rescheduled due to cancellation letter)

02/11/09: Approved, Passport Stamped

I received two e-mails that says they ordered card production and travel document was sent out.

Nothing in the mailbox yet, but I am happy to know that my case is moving forward!

Congrads turbo on getting your AP and EAD approved today. Very positive news to hear.

I just got 2 emails from CRIS... 1 for the EAD (Card Production ordered) and 1 for the AP (Approval notice sent).

I'm so happy!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Now stalking the mailman for the interview letter.. :whistle:

Congrads Rosie on getting your AP and EAD approved today. Very positive news to hear. I can only imagine the feeling of receiving those emails today. Now for the rest of the october filers to get approvals.

I just checked on the USCIS website and my EAD and AP were approved too. No more staying at home doing everything I want, time to go back to work... I kind of feel sad about it. I guess it's life... that's still nice to see that USCIS is working though.

Congrads Cecile and Bryan on getting your AP and EAD approved today. Very positive news to hear. I bet it must of been weird to know that you will be able to work very soon. It sure is nice to know that USCIS is working.

Oh very cool SweetnSexc, I do hope you will be able to find a job in Accounting. Very small world, I have an Accounting degree back in Canada and to be honest, I hate accounting so much, but hey its not for everyone. I am definately going to go back to school after I get my green card within the healthcare field, dont know exactly what yet, but work and school is the goal. I do hope things do happen for the rest of us soon and so much good news is going around.

I have a Bachelor Degree In Accounting so I most definitely get a job in Accounting but for the real good jobs, I have to have my permanent resident card. I once was offered an Accounting job, and they liked the fact that i had my degree but they needed me to have my card and I diddn'tnso Im looking forward to getting an interview as well so I can get that damn card and move on up. Things are moving so in know all my fellow OCTOBER FILERS will get approvals. :thumbs:

Hey My Fellow Octobers! Don't worry things are starting to happen for us, looked at my status today and saw this message:

On December 10, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. WOOHOO!

Note to everyone, if by the 70th or 75th you dont hear anything. PLEASE do a service request, do it after two months if you cant wait with a legitimate reason. Im so excited cuz my last DL expired on my bday on November 29 of this yr so I can get a new one. Hang in there, Im an OCTOBER 1st filer..and i was a lil worried when i saw interview letters after my filing date but I guess things are starting to happen for us OCTOBER filers.

10/01/08 Sent package to Chicago Lockbox

10/03/03 Package received at Chicago (Day 1)

10/10/08 Checks cashed per my bank (Day 7)

10/15/08 NOA's for I-130, I-485, I-765 (Day 12)

11/04/08 Biometrics done (Day 32)

11/10/08 Sent RFE letter with missing initial evidence (I-693) back to USCIS ( Day 38)

11/12/08 Initial evidence (I-693) received by NBC (Day 40)

11/17/08 Response for evidence received, case processing resumed (Day 45)

11/10/08 EAD Card production ordered (Day 68)

Hey SweetnSexc congrads on getting your EAD approved, I am very glad to hear that good things are happening for us October filers. What kind of job do you plan on applying for when you get your EAD? Its pretty good timing also that you can renew your DL. I hope something will happen for me and all of us soon. I am a late October filer, so it will be awhile.

Whoa!!! Wait a minute people! I go away for just one day and ALL THIS happens?!!! I am so very happy for you all! I can see the grins on your faces from all the way in cyberspace! NEXT?!!!

I know, tell me about it Beantownbabe. You will be getting your EAD and AP very soon, I predict in 2 weeks the most. I cant wait to feel the excitement LOL, but I know I will be one of the few people in the group who will get their EAD.

I just checked on the USCIS website and my EAD and AP were approved too. No more staying at home doing everything I want, time to go back to work... I kind of feel sad about it. I guess it's life... that's still nice to see that USCIS is working though.

Fingers crossed for my CRIS email tomorrow i hope. It would be perfect timing as xmas is getting expensive with my nieces first xmas and my other niece is nearly 2.......

My biometrics was done the day after yours.....i will hopefully post good news tomorrow

Hopefully Alxmrt you get an CRIS email tommorow. I think you have the best prize of them all, an interview date, so you will be getting the green card really soon. At this point, I wouldnt even be concerned about the EAD and AP since the interview is coming around quick. Congrads to you though.

Congrats to everyone who have been approved this week!! We can only imagine the joy that you all are feeling this close to the holidays!! We are hoping to hear some good news soon. The last touch we received was on the day of our EAD/AOS Biometrics appointment. But, the true frustration comes from the RFE we received back in November....I sent back the RFE two days later and it was received in Lee's Summitt on 11/19/2008....but STILL NO UPDATES ON USCIS!!! From looking at other timelines, it seems like once a RFE is sent back, the case typically resumes progress within a week of receiving it. But, ours still says on hold. Ugh!! Here's to hoping for miracles this Christmas! Too bad we don't live on 34th Street!! ;)

That seems like a long time with no updates! Why don't you guys give them a call or schdule an infopass to see what's going on?

My filing date is the 16th of October so I'm waiting for the 60 day to complete then I think I will call them to expidite...

hi eck2006 we file the same time. they received my application on oct. 16 too.. i hope we will be approve next week.. congrats to all of u guys that has been approved! im getting excited already..lol..
