Hey My Fellow Octobers! Don't worry things are starting to happen for us, looked at my status today and saw this message:

On December 10, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. WOOHOO!

Note to everyone, if by the 70th or 75th you dont hear anything. PLEASE do a service request, do it after two months if you cant wait with a legitimate reason. Im so excited cuz my last DL expired on my bday on November 29 of this yr so I can get a new one. Hang in there, Im an OCTOBER 1st filer..and i was a lil worried when i saw interview letters after my filing date but I guess things are starting to happen for us OCTOBER filers.

10/03/03 Package received at Chicago (Day 1)

10/10/08 Checks cashed per my bank (Day 7)

10/15/08 NOA's for I-130, I-485, I-765 (Day 12)

10/20/08 Biometrics appointment notice for Nov 4 (Day 17)

OMG!!! Congratulations!!! That gives me a big hope.... They recieved my package 2 days after you, but I did the biometric on the same date as you are!!! Did you not apply for AP though?

So I took your advice and called USCIS and today must be my lucky day because I actually spoke with a human being instead of those gargoyles they call Customer Service reps. She was nice enough to put in a service request for my biometrics appointment, so hopefully I'll be getting one soon. :thumbs:

05/20/2011.....................Sent off package today, so now playing the waiting game.(Day 1)

05/23/2011.....................Package was received(Day 3)

05/28/2011.....................Received NOA/one year extention letter dated 5/23/2011(Day 8)

06/04/2011.....................I got my biometrics letter in the mail, my appointment is for 06/13/2011@11:00am (Day 14)

06/13/2011.....................Biometrics appointment today @Cleveland, Ohio @11:00am (Day 23)

09/20/2011.....................Approved for 10yr green card, wooohooooo next step citizenship

09/24/2011.....................Received 10yr green card in the mail.

Hey SweetnSexc congrads on getting your EAD approved, I am very glad to hear that good things are happening for us October filers. What kind of job do you plan on applying for when you get your EAD? Its pretty good timing also that you can renew your DL. I hope something will happen for me and all of us soon. I am a late October filer, so it will be awhile.

Well done on the EAD ... I hope we will have good news too soon. I thought once we got the K1 I'd never check USCIS again - doing it twice daily now!!!

Thank you! Im sure you will hear something soon, you already got an interview date WOW! Did you start preparing your documents already for the interview. I didn't apply for AP cuz i dont plan on traveling back to my home country till next Christmas so i didn't really bother with AP and Im aware of how it works but I will feel more comfortable having the permanent card in my hand.

I have a Bachelor Degree In Accounting so I most definitely get a job in Accounting but for the real good jobs, I have to have my permanent resident card. I once was offered an Accounting job, and they liked the fact that i had my degree but they needed me to have my card and I diddn'tnso Im looking forward to getting an interview as well so I can get that damn card and move on up. Things are moving so in know all my fellow OCTOBER FILERS will get approvals. :thumbs:

We called USCI to get a service request.......We are supposed to get a biometrics appt within 45 days. Hopefully its wayyy less than that. Also we sent in our information needed for the RFE in the AOS but we have not recieved a letter that they recieved it. We did however get a delivery confirmation though. We didnt get the signed confirmation notice just the notice that it got there. I am worried that it may be lost or something. Maybe not but I am wondering if I should or could send another copy of everything to them again just incase? Or maybe they havent gotten to our RFE information yet?

When you sent in the RFE, did you check your case online? It should say "Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed." If not, you need to follow up maybe call and ask if they received your documents or resend the whole package with copies of your NOA for their reference.

AOS TIMELINE

Oct 27, 2008- Sent AOS/EAD/AP to the Chicago Lock Box

Oct 28, 2008- Delivered

Nov 7, 2008- NOA AOS/EAD/AP received

Nov 10, 2008- Biometrics letter received scheduled for Nov 28, 2008

Nov 13, 2008- Biometrics Walk in - all Hackensack NJ all done and dusted !

Nov 23, 2008 - RFE for marriage certificate-- are you kidding me?? This was included in my package. How annoying!!

NOv 24, 2008- Response for RFE mailed via express mail

Nov 25, 2008- Case processing resumed

Dec 31, 2008- Received email from CRIS EAD card production ordered. Thank you Lord!!!! YAY YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH WOOO HOOO

Jan 3, 2009- AP approval email received

Jan 7, 2009 - 2nd email from CRIS EAD production ordered... Send the damn card already... Jeez the wait is killing me

Jan 9, 2009- EAD Approval email

Jan12, 2009- AP comes in the mail

Jan 13,2009- EAD comes in the mail, FINALLY!!

April 20, 2009- AOS Interview- Approved

i have my fingers crossed for a "hurry the heck up process" to those still waiting to hear and smooth sailing to those of us who have information. i got another email from my friend CRIS last night saying card production ordered for the EAD which is the exact same message they sent me on the 5th? what gives?

Hey SweetnSexc congratulations!!!I'm in the same boat as you are.I have my marketing degree but of course the good companies are looking for people with permenant status.I think you just gave all of us hope:))I filed 13 days after you did and got my biometrics done 4 days after yours.So hopefully I will hear something soon.I see some October filers already got their interview dates, that's awesome. Hopefully we all get our interview dates soon.Good luck everyone!!!

I received two e-mails that says they ordered card production and travel document was sent out.

Nothing in the mailbox yet, but I am happy to know that my case is moving forward!
