Still nothing today. :crying:

Hey naviomelo, I am in the same boat, in some way, since my biometrics appoinment, I havent heard anything about my progress at all, we are pretty much in the same timeline, I have noticed though in your timeline that you havent received your bio appointment yet, I think that is really crazy, I am sorry for what you are going through. Have you called USCIS customer service number, I know its very useless calling them for any info, but it doesnt hurt to try if you havent yet. Good luck to you. BTW the thread is kinda quiet today.

Yea, we got a notice saying it was being transferred along with a mailed notice. This was after the biometrics date.

All of the sudden today I get that pending notice (totally separate from the transfer) and the case has todays date as a "last update".

I wondered if that meant it went onto someones desk or something.

Oh ok, then that definately means you got a touch on your case, and your case is being worked on.

Wow, checked again today and it was touched again today. Hrrrmmmm Wonder if it'll pop up as approved soon.

We are going to call USCIS tomorrow and get a request for servicing or some ####### for the EAD. I have called USCIS like 3 times in the last 7 days. KIMCORENE you can call USCIS on the 61st day after you got the NOA1 Or after they recieved it. Well they told me to call and I know our dates are close so you should call. For the AOS you have to wait 90 days from when they recieved your response to the RFE or from the RFE date that you got the letter. One of the 2.....you should call and ask anyway.

So if you call, what do they do - expedite it or something? Day 61 would be next Tuesday for me...Sure would like to get my driving license soon with the EAD as primary evidence.

N-400 Journey

June 9th 2012 - Application sent

June 14th 2012 - NOA sent

June 28th - Biometrics letter sent -- July 26th Appointment date

July 12th 2012 - Early Biometrics/Walk-in

August ( ) - Interview letter received -- September 14th Interview date

September 14th 2012 - Interview! Oath date in hand, September 20th @ noon!

I got my drivers license using my passport with the i-94 entry stamp - but as everyone's i-94 has pretty much expired at this stage I think that's not an option for anyone here.

God they like to make you wait don't they?

i-710 Process

02/23/2011 - Mailed off i-751 to California

It's the wait that's the killer! I keep looking out for the mail now for something...anything from these people! I need something official with my new signature on it to be able to get my license since I don't have anything yet.

Kimcorene, I've been thinking of your biometrics situation and remember reading from a couple of previous filers that they didn't get their bio appointments either yet they got interview dates - their biometrics were simply done the very same day as their interview! Let's hope something like that is in the works for you! Fingers crossed!

Well since we have not gotten a biometrics appt they will do a service request to get a biometrics appt. I THINK! I am not exactly sure how it all works as we have yet to do it. I am off tomorrow so we are going to call then since my husband has to be present. I tried to do it at work on break but they wouldnt let me since he was not present. Will let you know details tomorrow. :)

BETW yes the wait is a def a killer. Its like the K1 visa process all over again....worrying and all.

Oh, I see! So I guess I'll just wait it out, then - the card will come sooner or later! I think I'll just about have a fit when I actually see it though! As for the interview, I guess I can admit that I have recently been daydreaming about going home to visit and returning via the "Permanent residents" line at the airport next year! I'm so glad that the Holidays are here so that some of the sting is being taken out of waiting. At least we can focus on something else for the most part. And it snowed here a couple of days ago! My daughter was mesmerized even by the little sprinkle that we got! She held her face up to the sky and tried to taste the snowflakes - Oh to be a kid!!!

Anyway, now that I am completely off topic - who's next for an update?! And where is TonyDanza? Any biometrics appointment yet?

More, more! - More news, people...I love good news!

So I took your advice and called USCIS and today must be my lucky day because I actually spoke with a human being instead of those gargoyles they call Customer Service reps. She was nice enough to put in a service request for my biometrics appointment, so hopefully I'll be getting one soon.

Hey My Fellow Octobers! Don't worry things are starting to happen for us, looked at my status today and saw this message:

On December 10, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. WOOHOO!
