 Well, fortunately, I can't sign up for the online updates- it still wont take my receipt numbers, so at least I wont have to worry about compulsive checking- just anticipating the mail carrier

I am having a hard time registering my NOA1 on uscis.gov. It says the reciept number is invalid.....#######???

It says the same thing for me, too- seems to be a chronic problem. Don't worry about it.

It's too early to be losing hope- I'm usually not an optimistic person (I'm a self-styled "pessimistic realist"), but keep your chin up.

Thank you Kimcorene :)

Maybe it was because I sent it via FedEx to the other address.. everyone else seems to have used the lockbox address for USPS mail.

hello all. i am new to this site. i have a basic question. how do you know if your paperwork has been "touched"? what does that mean? i see several people mentioning this in their post. I-130 NOA1 is Feb 27, 2008 and I-129F NOA1 is March 10, 2008. i haven't heard any news as of yet, but i would be curious to see if my apps have been touched or not.

thanks,

john
