Oh ok, that seems like an interesting job, kinda like UPS or FedEx kinda thing. It sounds like it can be a stressful job. Oh ok so I guess the whole not being able to register the I-130 thing isnt a big deal, thanks for the reassurance on that. USCIS definately isnt a realiable system whatsoever LOL. Thanks again.

Yes, just like UPS or FedEx but for business only, we are not open to the main public, unless you own a business.

USCIS is definitely not reliable on their internet updates.. but what can we do, I still go and check it every day just to make sure my application is still there

Oh ok that is really interesting. Hell no USCIS is not realiable in their updates at all. I do also check everyday also just to make sure everything is cool and *knock on wood* for no RFE.

Good news about the fingerprints. I wonder when we would even receive interview notices in the mail? I can imagine that Chicago is a busy office, I am not too sure about the Cleveland office, I wonder, I checked out the USCIS site to look at processing timelines but for the I-485 it has April 25 2008 for the Cleveland office, so I cant tell and plus it mentions that they are behind schedule. If they are within the processing norm, they would tell you how many months. I am curious, what is an L1 visa?

Who knows... we will see when it will be our turn!

L1 is a Inter-company transfer visa. I was working for a company in Italy who has offices all over the world and they decided to send me to Chicago... and the story begins.. LOL!

We can only see if we get the interview notices sooner than expected. Awww ok, that is really cool and what do you do for work, if you dont mind me asking? Thank you for sharing the info and just never heard of that type of visa before. Can I ask you a question, you know when you got your NOAs, were you able to register your I-130 recepit number on the USCIS site? I was able to register my I-485 and I-765 recepit numbers but not the I-130 and I have no clue why? Thank you in advance.

I had the same problem with my I-765 online. It was not available, but my other two cases were online. My I-765 eventually posted so that I could view the status a few weeks later though. I would just give it some more time, plus your I-485 is the important one anyways.

Hey Dj osmo, yeah I just dont get it why USCIS send these receipt numbers and then it is such a pain the ####### to look them up, like I know the I-130 is not really important to track, but I still dont get why I am having problems with it. I will just wait and see what happens. It did take me a few weeks to see my I-765 and I-485. You are right my friend, the I-485 is the important one and glad that I am able to view this one.

Sorry, I havn't been following our AOS case as close as I did with our K1. We just received an email stating the case was sent over to the CSC, I thought it would just go to our local office.

Anywho - how am I doing on time? We filed late October, had a refusal and an RFE....

Hi jonandmary, well looks like to me your process is going well so far except for the bump in the road RFE sucks. At least from what I can tell on your timeline that everything is processing again. Usually when a case is being transfered to CSC, you get approved for your green card without an interview, but they can transfer your case back to your local office and schedule an interview.

Just want to make sure this is normal -- we filed for the AOS in mid-October. NOA's were sent right away. Had the biometrics in mid-November. We are pretty sure we should be getting an RFE for the medical because we didn't send it with the package but wanted to get the AP paperwork in right away, just hoping that we could travel for Christmas - not going to happen. But we haven't had ANY movement ("touches") since the biometrics. Is this normal?

It seems like your in normal processing times and usually you get touches after biometrics appointment, usually 2 days later, but I know that my case was touched the day after my bio appointment

Really? I didn't even know that's possible to get the AOS approved without an interview. I don't mind, the Milwaukee office is easy to get to and we have years and years of evidence to lug in. I just want to get Mary's GC so she can continue working (legally) after her I94 expires and we can go back to Toronto to visit family in February.

Thanks for your input.

Hey again, yeah it is possible to get your AOS approved without an interview. This is only a possibility for people who entered the US with the fiance visa K-1. Hopefully you guys do get approved without an interview, its usually the luck of the draw. I hope you do get Mary's green card soon so she can continue to work legally and the both of you to go back to Toronto to visit family. I am also from Toronto also, what part of Toronto is she from? Your welcome for the input.

After biometric was complete, there was a touch on AOS and EAD like two days later.

I'm just looking at your timeline, Shieun...so much for my observation about Biometrics and Interview dates! I see you had your bios done AND you have an interview date set! That's great! January is busy for October filers!

Hi, I got a touch on the day of Biometrics and nothing ever since, so yes - I believe it's normal! Some people don't get anything more until "Card Production ordered" or "Approval Notice sent" I hope you get your AP soon, though! Good luck!

hello im new to the october aos filers....

as i was looking at some of the dates....i noticed a lot of people got a "touch" after their biometrics....

mine was november 18 and i have not had a "touch" since november 11.

also....

on case status online i am not able to add my i-485 receipt number...has anyone had such problems? the i-130 and i-765 are showing...

Dont worry about the case not showing online they dont always, as many people will confirm it seems to be pot luck if it does. My case hasn't updated online since my touch for biometrics dont worry i'm sure it will be ok.
