Happy Thansgiving All! You can add another interview to the mix!! We got our letter yesterday and we are set for Jan 14th! No EAD or AP yet but it looks as if they were a waste of filing time. What a perfect day for our interview as my wife's and daughter's B'Days are the 15th and 18th! What a nice gift! :P:D

I have copies of all that we filed in Oct. Is there anything else other then the typical joint account items that we need to bring? From what I can tell from the NOA, it looks as if we have already acquired all necessary docs. This was not expected so fast. Good Luck Everybody! It looks as if things are moving swiftly for people.

Congrats!!!

We still havent had our biometrics either. No letter about it either. And our case was transferred to MO....Not sure if that is good or bad. I am getting really impatient and starting to get somewhat mad. We have not gotten anything since our RFE. and we sent out the info they needed. UGH!!! GRRRRRRRRRR!

We were sent the RFE but it was sent back to USCIS, so i still have no idea what that RFE was for :( I was so pissed off so we made an INFOPASS appointment. What was ur RFE about if u don't mind me asking?

I did a little bit of research on INFOPASS and aparently u can get help on existing case, like getting some info or some help with ur case, see how things are moving, since USCIS customer service phone is a waste of time. I just got so mad and then decided to make an appointment and talk to a live person. I heard that some people got some help or information there so i thought i'd give it a try, cause i was told it would take 45 days to resend my RFE.

Haven't heard anything about getting temporary EAD's at the service centre, but if u said u read that in the papers, maybe there is a chance, maybe give it a try and make an appointment. I know u can get a temp. at POE sometimes, but dunno about the service centre.

I agree with u, EAD is the most important thing for us now too and i was really hoping for the process to go smoothly.

Crosses fingers for both of us! I am getting very impatient!

Tell me about it. :) But u know what, we got this far and we'll get through the rest of it.

Hubby told me not to read VJ so much, cause aparently it upsets me that our case isn't flowing quite as good as we thought it would :D And i said that at it helps me, cause i can talk to people who go through the same stuff and can understand me better than lets say a friend that never had this kind of stuff to deal with

Good luck to us!

Congrats to all those moving on!:dance:

Quick question here...

To sum it up I got a yellow RFE regarding my sponsor and joint sponsor. The three check boxed points were...

1-In order to process your application further the petitioner/sponsor on form i-864 Affidavit of Support must submit all federal income tax documents submitted to the Internal Revenue Service for the most recent tax year.

2-In order to process your application further the joint petitioner/sponsor on form i-864 Affidavit of Support must submit all federal income tax documents submitted to the Internal Revenue Service for the most recent tax year.

3-The joint sponsors income on the federal income tax return does not meet or exceed 125% of the poverty guideline. The joint sponsor lists their current income on form i-864 as an amount to be considered as sufficient; however no evidence has been submitted as proof of current income.

In order to process your application further submit evidence of joint sponsors income. Such evidence should include...

Letter of Employment.

Pay Stubs.

OK. So on 1 and 2 I had previously submitted just a one page tax return summary which had their name, Social, and tax paid summary for the most recent year. Thought that was all I needed! Clearly not. So now i have photocopies of all their previous year tax dealings which I will mail in which are very long in my joint sponsors case. Is this right? Did you all mail the one page of a whole slew of pages for the most recent year. Also thanks to the advice about IRS Faxing!!! Never wait for them to mail it to you I was told. And thus I changed it Fri to a fax! They never initially offered that and I should have asked.

But the funny one is point 3 above. It even contradicts itself!? I mean, who is typing these things? I mads an example letter of employment and am going to have his boss sign it. Thing is, he makes well over $100,000 grand a year but no pay stubs as he is a real estate broker. Letter of employment looks like this....

RE: Employment Verification For ___________

Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter is to confirm that _________ is currently employed with ___________ in ____________ and has been since May 2006 on a full time basis as a real estate agent. His salary exceeds $100,000/yr. Mr.____________ current employment is stable and is likely to continue far into the future.

Please feel free to contact us should your office require any additional information.

Sincerely,

His salary changes depending on how many houses he sells. Is this sufficient?

Think this is all these bozos need? Am I missing anything? Did I mess up anything else and am not seeing it? I cant possible handle another RFE!

Thanks ALL SO MUCH!

Oh no I think I may have forgotten something huge. I just got a letter from USCIS about asking my wife medical screening documentation. I now assume this is something I was suppose to submit in my original package. Is that right? Is this something I should have sent in from the beginning. :bonk:

I just thought she was going to get the medical and biometrics done at the same appointment or something. I also found out its gonna cost another $200 to for this doctor to sign off on her. Im so tired of dishing out money. :(

hi dj_osmo,

sorry you are delayed! yes you needed to send in the i-693a form which is a form a civil surgeon fills out basically transcribing the foreign medical document and depending on when the original was done a tb skin test. there is a dr in texas somewhere that will do it by mail for $20 i think the name is dr arnold (search vj loads of people have used this doc) and been fine.

good luck!

Sounds good I will give the Doc a call. Thanks.

Seems like October filers are getting our interview dates in now! I have my interview date set on Jan 30, 09.

What I really need is an AP, because my husband and I are planning to have a big wedding celebration during Christmas time.

My work (vacation) schedule and his school schedule won't allow us to have celebration during the middle of the week, and we already bought plane tickets to back to Korea...

Has any October filers heard on AP yet?

Do you think it would be wise for me to request for an expedite? hmm...

Congrads to everyone who got interview notices and wow I am totally amazed on how fast they are giving interview dates. I want to ask those people who got their interview notices, what was their status when they entered in the US? Did you guys file for an AP and EAD? All I can say is, Octotber seems to be a very good month for many people in here. I know this makes many people optimistic and gives us all hope that it may happen for the rest of us in here. For those who got RFE, I am sorry you have to go through this #######, everything will look up.
