I just read link about AOS processing time. I am in CT, and i notice CT is the longest state to get you green card, it shows 414 days.

Really shock me! :o

Wow that is a very long time! I hope it will take less long for you. Maybe the statistics are based on old data and now it takes less time.

It should be less then that. Look at the Sep AOS filers thread or earlier and you will see that they are going pretty fast.

Hi Rosie74.

Though I am not an October filer, let me leave a comment here.

When I had my fingerprints taken, they were having such a hard time to take a fingerprint of my pinkie.

Two people tried for about thirty minutes, but they still could not be satisfied with the quality of the fingerprint.

Since we had no choice, we submitted it anyway. Though I was told that I may receive a letter telling me to show up for the second

biometrics, my fingerprints were accepted by FBI without a trouble. So, just because the screen tells you "match warning," it does

not necessarily mean that your fingerprints will be rejected.

Anyway, here is the phone number of FBI line you can call to see whether your fingerprints were accepted or not.

The number is 304-625-5590. I called the day after my biometrics date and they already knew whether they were accepted or not.

So, you should give a cell tomorrow. They should be able to tell you. :star:

For further information, please refer to http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...;hl=fingerprint

Good Luck

Nao

I will definitely give them a call!! Thank you so much for the valuable information!!

Well we sent back our "new" EAD form with the revised date to Chicago and it was delivered on 11/1. But, we still haven't received our NOA1 for the EAD. Valerie has her biometrics for AOS next Tuesday on the 18th. Hopefully we get the EAD NOA1 before them, but what are the chances we can get both biometrics done next week....especially if we don't have the EAD form back yet. Will they be able to look it up on the computer? It would be nice if we could get both biometrics knocked out on the same trip!

I think they scan the barcodes that are on the biometrics appointment letter. If you only have the AOS barcode, I doubt they will be able to link your biometrics to your EAD. But at the same time, they ask you to fill out a sheet with name, address, etc, and on this sheet they ask for the number of the case (AOS case and EAD case), so maybe you can ask them if you can put your new EAD number on it, if you have received it of course. It's worth a try.

I had my biometrics this morning, arrived there at 7:50am (appointment at 8am), we were probably 10 people, first in first served (well, first who gives the sheet back first served :P). the fingerprint thing took less than 10 minutes. All in all I probably stayed in the office 20 minutes. Some of my fingers had 50-55% warning matches.

On the appointment letter it says No cellphone, but there were signs inside the office saying that if one needed to use one's cellphone, one had to go outside, in the lobby. So I guess it means that the cellphones were not forbidden, just that we can't use them inside. But maybe it's different in some offices.

I got my NOA for I-130, I-485, and I-765. But I cant track my case status online with my I-765 EAD. I guess it has not hit yet on the system online or maybe it never will but atleast I got my important ones in. Im not to worred about that.

But what does concern me is my check for my I-485 AOS ($1010) cleared on 10/7/2008 but not my I-130 ($355) has not to this date. Has anyone else encountered this? I got all my NOA at the same time too!

I thinking that maybe they didnt need my I-130 from the beginning cause she was already here as a Visitor? Im just really curious what is going to happen with that check if anything. Im tempted to spend it but Im not sure if I should.

Don't spend the money! I bet that check will cash soon and when it does you'll want to be sure the money is there!!! If your wife was already here, then she definitely needed the I-130 since that's the Petition for the Alien relative (spouse.) Good luck!

Got the Bio's done today. Arrived at 10:50, filled out paperwork, fingerprints done by 11:15. Nice and easy! One quick question the wife is concerned about...these pics..are these the ones that go in the greencard or do they take more recent pics at interview. Naturally, she does not like the pic they took.... ;)
