good luck everyone!

Cool! yea it usually gets touched when we do biometrics because the scanning on the barcode for I-485 and I-765 notice..Its done right away..it should be i guess..but i just got my I-693 done yesterday..because i sent my package without the medical so i got RFE for that (no RFE for Affidavit of Support or tax returns etc)..as ive read on alot of forums so i guessed i did a good job.. i knew obviously it would be for that..after not being able to get an appointment i still was determined to get the package mailed by the Oct 1st..finally i got an appointment yesterday..Get envelope on monday to send..so I am gonna mail it as soon as i received the envelope. They noted that they are going to start processing the I-765 after receiving RFE..so its cool..but my arm hurts like hell afterwards.. got 4 shots on the same day..Glad i got everything over with tho.. the wait begins..shouldn't be that long tho.. and to be honest..im mostly interested in getting that interview notice for initial interview..yay to employment authorization..but notice to appear at interview, that will make me happy even more.

Hey Beantownbabe,

Nice to know that you got your biometrics done, now everything can get moving right..ink..lol technology my friend and there should be touches soon.

So I went to Biometrics this morning - all went well except for the fact that it was raining and it messed up my "look good for the picture" hair!!! I looked like a drowned rat once I got inside, but it was a smooth process and quite interesting. I don't know why I didn't even realize that they scan your fingers...I guess I'm old and expected to come out with ink everywhere! It was interesting to see all the different races in the office and now I'll wait to see if my file gets touched online. Who is up next?

Yes, I notice it got touched yesterday afternoon, I guess when they input the information from Biometrics. Both I-485 and I-765 - We filed I-130 also, but that status remained the same. It will be interesting to see who gets their EAD's first, huh?!

hello everyone!

i am so surprized i have not found this thread earlier.

there is actually another October AOS thread where a lot of March K1 Vermont filers were posting. We kind of stuck together and filed for AOS around the same date.

We filed October 16 and i have my biometrics next Wednesday.

One thing is a little weird. Neither of my receipt numbers can be pulled out on the USCIS website. Like they did not upload our case or something.

Do you think i should call and have them fix it?

Anyone else in the same situation?

I also try to check my receipt numbers online. But it said the numbers begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). And my number begin with MSC.

Anybody elso experience it?

It would show up eventually..dont worry about it..even if it doesn't show up that does not mean they are not working on it..All marriage-based cases go to the National Benefits Center hence receipts with MSC. I got receipts starting with MSC and alot of other people.

For those who are doing or have done the biometric 'walk-in' attempt, I am wondering if that is only after they recieve their NOA or their Biometrics scheduled appointment. I am wondering if there is any point in trying a walk-in prior to recieving the letter. Prob not huh? Just racing the clock for the army SF deadline which I am trying to meet, so any extra time is a massive plus for me.

And what is up with still no NOA ;(. That damn thing better show up soon, I'm loosing my mind trying to confirm that my package even made it to the right address seeing as I am the only person I have seen that had a different lady sign for my package...Chiba. Man this waiting game gets ya, huh? ;) (And this is just the start)

I just had mine yesterday in Boston and they check I.D's and appointment letters three times before you get to go in so there is no point going without an actual appointment/letter. Yours will come soon and it's *usually* within a two week timeframe - the appointment that is...

N-400 Journey

June 9th 2012 - Application sent

June 14th 2012 - NOA sent

June 28th - Biometrics letter sent -- July 26th Appointment date

July 12th 2012 - Early Biometrics/Walk-in

August ( ) - Interview letter received -- September 14th Interview date

Had the biometrics yesterday in St.Louis. Appointment letter is a mandatory. It has the bar code for checking your file. I saw the officer scanned the bar codes (AOS and EAD). She asked my passport and I handed over my marriage cert since I applied with my married name. She said it is not necessary because my husband's name is written on my K1 visa as the petitioner. Well, since it took 2 hours to reach that office, we brought the marriage certificate to be prepared. Excellent service. Good luck to everybody.
