Hi - It means that you will soon receive a letter from USCIS asking you to provide information. Sometimes, it could be that you forgot to sign something for instance - or it could be that they need tax information or something like that. Infact it could be anything and sometimes it is something that you provided already and they lost it! All you need to do is wait until the letter comes, then find out what they need and send it back to them - your case will resume once they receive what it is they are looking for. Good luck!

So I went to Biometrics this morning - all went well except for the fact that it was raining and it messed up my "look good for the picture" hair!!! I looked like a drowned rat once I got inside, but it was a smooth process and quite interesting. I don't know why I didn't even realize that they scan your fingers...I guess I'm old and expected to come out with ink everywhere! It was interesting to see all the different races in the office and now I'll wait to see if my file gets touched online. Who is up next?

Did you have to put your hair up when taking a picture like on passport photos??? Just a thought...

No, she just said "look at the camera!" and as soon as I found it she clicked. I heard one of the other people ask someone else, "do you want to smile for your picture?" I just got the click!

Sounds like my experience - I had my passport as I.D with my maiden name, but thanks to VJ came armed with my marriage certificate - they didn't care about it! I had to ask the woman if she needed to see it and she told me no! Like you though, I would recommend that you take it anyway!
