Hey Kang Lang and gang, well my wife and I went to our infopass appointment on Thursday, we got there and we were litterally there for 5 minutes, all we got out of the 5 minutes was there are other cases before mine and they havent gotten to my case yet and the person who is working on my case wasnt there which was at 3:45pm because he and everyone else already left for the long weekend which pissed us off because it was only Thursday, and this person comes early in the morning and leaves early appearently. It was just a bunch of bull we got from this guy who was talking to us and he took our phone # and cell #s and said he was going to call Monday which is today but lets say he doesnt, I wont be surprised. All I gotten was I am not going to find out anything for a long while.

This is beyond ridiculous now! It's definitely time to involve a Congressman. I can't believe they are holding your passport and birth certificate!

Tell me about it, my wife and I say the samething everyday single day. The phone call we were promised for Monday certainly didnt happen, we werent surprised at all, USCIS sucks big time, gosh we hate them, I just dont get why the man asked us for our number and he had no intentions of calling us. We are going to call the stupid congressman for the 3rd friggin time to be told the same #######. I think this is absouletly ridiculous, they were trying to say 8 months isnt a long wait blah blah, that people who were before me were waiting for yrs which isnt acceptable and they should be ashamed of themselves for putting people through this #######. I think its crappy we cant get any straight answers for what is going on and why they are holding my bc and passport. I thought they wanted to see it in person to verify identity and make photocopies of it and return it but that isnt the case they kept it. The 1st meeting was way better than the 2nd appointment, they are saying they cant find my entry dates into the US and they are so stupid, how can they not find a persons entries knowing that people from Canada cant come into the US illegally, I personally feel like I am being treated like an illegal alien. The crappy part is, I have no idea when I will be approved and I highly doubt since I havent been married for 2yrs they wouldnt even plan on giving me the 10yr green card, lets say they gave me the green card a week before my 2yrs, I would still get the 2yr green card. I do feel they have put us through unneccesary ####### for no reason just to drag the case on more. What pisses me off the most is people who filed in March and April of 09 are getting there green cards before me, that bothers me. I hope this foolishness gets resolved soon but I highly doubt it though. Thanks for your support Kang Lang and hope something good happens.

I agree, we should have been long approved already, but it seems to me that USCIS is playing games and prolonging the cases for no reason, they should of already been done with the case, god I had the Cleveland office and USCIS with a passion. We are going to involve the congressman again for the 3rd time, just to tell us the same ####### they told us the 1st and 2nd time. I really cant believe they are holding my passport and bc for no reason at all and they havent given us any reason why and I just think something like this is so illegal its not even funny, we are not criminals nor did we break any laws. Mind you the broken USCIS agency has held my passport for over 2 months now with no explantion. Thank you Rosie and I will let you know what happens.

hey guys I finally got my greencard.apparently I've been a resident since may 19th but I just recieved my card on july 3rd....im so happy that finally this hassle is over of course until next year i guess...is it 90 days before our 2nd year anniverseray or before the green card approval date, we have to apply again to lift the conditions up?

CONGRADS eck2006 on getting your green card finally in the mail, I think it is crazy you were a resident may 19th, I think it was because of the delay in green card production is why you just got it. Thanks alot my friend and I agree whole heartly this is friggin ridiculous, I have been waiting for over 8 months now and nothing, just keep on tell me the same old #######.

Thanks SWEETNSEXC for the support, yeah I think I am still one of the small few still waiting for an approval in the october group, it has been over 8 months now and I am way passed the normal processing times, I have called the 1800 number thousands of times and nothing, they even put in an request for being over normal processing times, they sent me some generic email saying they have put in for a service request 2 weeks ago and damn nothing, I made 2 infopass appointments and got me nowhere, they didnt tell me nothing nor give me any reassurance about anything, I called the congressman office 3X and all they do is write some generic email to USCIS and there response is very vague and generic, I think this is beyond crazy and the crazy thing is they still have my passport and birth certificate for no reason and gave me no explantion why they have it and what they are going to do about it. Thanks dude for the information and help, I will defintaely try and see what happens. Yeah this is the ####### I am going through with USCIS currently, well more like 8 and half months, unbelievable. I hope I do hear something soon and it just sucks not having a status here you know, feeling very left out in a way. Thanks for the support man and I will let you know what happens.

I am sorry to hear about your problems, I did not think the US govt could keep the passport from another country for so long, after all it is the property of the issuing govt.

We are still pending, there has been no change in our case since his EAD and AOS were issued in January. We are still at CSC with no interview date, nothing. The last inquiry they stated it was being reviewed by an immigration officer, that was in May.

Thanks belinda63, I do think it is quite strange they are holding my passport and birth certificate and not give us a reason why they have it in their possession and what they are doing with them, they already seen my passport and bc. I have been waiting for 9 and half months and still nothing, we did the infopass appointmens twice and nothing, called 1800 several times and nothing, called the congressman 3 times and nothing, we even put in a service request for being over the processing times and still didnt do a damn thing. I am sorry to hear you are going through such ####### with USCIS also with your green card, I think this is so inhumane and hope you will get good news coming your way very soon. Good luck to you.

Well, almost nine months to the day after they received the packet we got some news (other than the EAD and AP received in Jan) I was shocked to see our status had changed from pending to........

Request for more information....

Now we get to play the waiting game for the mail to find out what they need/probably had and lost after nine months/or the dust is covering the file so badly they can't find it.

Really, after nine months they decide they need more information? They couldn't figure this out oh like six months ago?

I shouldn't complain, he is here with me and he is working, two jobs right now, so hopefully whatever it is will be resolved quickly.
