Hey Congrats to all the new approvals ... can't believe people are still waiting ... yeah they finger printed and photographed me too ... asked me when we got married and how many time I had left the country ... that was in Shannon, Ireland. Docs moved the due date back to December 6th now ... not long to go.

Congratulations Kimcorene!!!

I got a second email saying card production ordered on June 15th which my previous one was on May 19th. I read it on the USCIS website they are updating their system so the GC might take up to 2 months vs 1 month.So I guess that is why I got the second mail and maybe this time I will recieve it in 2 weeks....congrats to everyone who recieved their greencards recently...

Hi,

It seems like i've not been here in like forever, moving and trying to find work can be so time consuming. Anyway i check the USCIS website last night and my green card for myself and my daughter was ordered on the 23rd June, so guess were are finally approved. So have updated my time line accordingly. It has seemed to have taken forever. For those still waiting, I hope the wait isn't much longer for you, and for those who have got there's already Congrats

We got so lucky.. both of us have jobs here in San Diego and we were really lucky in finding very good ones too!

I was also wondering if Canadianmade finally heard something from USCIS.. I believe they were holding his passport, so I'm really hoping they gave it back to him by now!

Hey Rosie, Kang Lang and everyone, its been awhile since I last posted, well guys still nothing, USCIS still has my passport and birth certificate, and I havent got it back since my infopass appointment in April, I did in the begining of June call USCIS and they put in a service request since I am passed the processing time in my local office, and it didnt do a darn thing. I made another infopass appointment for July 2nd again to find out what the hell is going on and why is the approval taking so long and why they still have my passport and birth certificate, I should have gotten that back a long time ago. Wish me luck on getting approved soon guys.

What?? They still haven't returned the passport and BC? That's just insane!! So now you couldn't even go back to your own Country even if you wanted too.. that's absurd! Let us know what happens at the infopass on July 2nd.. I really hope they will at least give you your documents back, and maybe an explanation of WHY is this taking so long for you!

There are still a few of us hanging around. If we don't hear anything soon (like in a couple of weeks) we will ask the congressman to intervene. Other than receiving the EAD and AP in early January there has been no action on our case that we can see.

An inquiry sent to CSC two months ago resulted in a response that "your case is currently being reviewed by an officer" which to me translates to "we don't know where it is, on someone's desk we hope, and we are too lazy to go look for it"

On your spreadsheet you can put us in yellow. Her green card was approved on 6/2/09 and she received it on 6/24/09. She will have been here 1 year on July 16th -- so I guess 11 months wasn't so bad considering what others have gone through. We'll probably see everyone back here (the removing of conditions forum) in 18-21 months. This website has given us a lot of information since the beginning of our K-1 process. Stuff that just filling out the forms and reading their instructions never gave us. So thanks everyone and we'll see you soon!

Hey Kang Lang and gang, well my wife and I went to our infopass appointment on Thursday, we got there and we were litterally there for 5 minutes, all we got out of the 5 minutes was there are other cases before mine and they havent gotten to my case yet and the person who is working on my case wasnt there which was at 3:45pm because he and everyone else already left for the long weekend which pissed us off because it was only Thursday, and this person comes early in the morning and leaves early appearently. It was just a bunch of bull we got from this guy who was talking to us and he took our phone # and cell #s and said he was going to call Monday which is today but lets say he doesnt, I wont be surprised. All I gotten was I am not going to find out anything for a long while.

for $%*#'s sake! seriously? i'm so sorry to hear that, can you involve your wife's congressman or something. absolutely ridiculous! i'm sorry this has gone on for so long at this rate they should start planning just to give you your 10 year card.
