WOO HOO! I'm first-so far. Package sent today via USPS Express, will get there tomorrow. Wait, does that mean mine will be in the bottom of the box? :unsure: , lol.

I finally got my medical report from Civil Surgeon today, and DHL package to USCIS today. Hope we can have news ASAP.

So, I got my RFE- I mistakenly thought it would be for my medical, but apparently, They need evidence of my lawful admission into the country, namely I-94 and or a copy of my visa (which was provided btw). So, I'm sending copies of the I-94, visa and entry stamps. Going to the post office now.

That sucks! I wonder why they always end up losing some of the paperwork we send! :angry:

Hopefully you won't get any more RFE's, even if you were expecting the one for the medical..

Woooohooooo... Got the biometric appointment for Nov 7, 10AM. :dance::dance::dance:

:dance::dance::thumbs:

Today I reached a new place in my attitude towards USCIS, I realized that the ,most important thing was for me to be able to stay with my husband after my current legal stay expired, and my submission of my AOS application has ensured that, so I refuse to get all worked up over them, :yes: and to enjoy my life and just be patient in this process. If they send another RFE, so be it, I'll just deal with it. In the mean time, I have stuff to do- like our spreadsheet, :lol: . I had my GRE today so I didn't get a chance to start but I'll be on it, come Monday.

What's up Kim;

Mi jus a pop in fi check pon you. Look like you doing a'rite. Latahs...give me a link later.

hiya beantown!

so biometrics was easy peasy. we arrived about 5 minutes early, making sure we had left all the phones in the car (although the security card never searched us, or asked about my long coat in fact never got off the phone w/ his girlfriend) filled out a one sheeter basic bio information, they matched his i.d. to the letter and then after about 5 minutes were sent upstairs where it took about 10 minutes to make sure the fingerprints were proper and get his photo taken. (they even let him preview the photo in case he didn't like it! :whistle: ) all in all painless done in under 15 minutes. curious to see if they "touch" our file in the next few days given the biometrics.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

As soon as you return the RFE additional evidence, your case process should resume... and it should be within the normal processing time frame. I know a few of us August filers had the RFE and we are still waiting for the EAD...

Hey VJ members, I know I am a later October filer, but just want to tell everyone that I did send my AOS package yesterday and my

package did arrive to the Chicago lockbox and signed today so I am very excited :D. Hope my process and every other October filers

process goes smoothly. I just want to say the spreadsheet to keep track of everyone's process is such a good idea and I dont remember

the name of the member who made this and is taking the time to keep track of everyone, but I just want to compliment that member and

I want to know if I can be added to the list. Thank you very much in advance and good luck to everyone in their process.

Good to know it was so easy and fast.

One question: is the US citizen supposed to go with the immigrant at the biometrics, or does it work just the same if the immigrant goes by him/herself? I don't really want my husband to take a day off from work just for a 20 minutes appointment.

Your welcome and thanks to the both of you and thank you for adding me to the spreadsheet. Oh my appology for not stating what visa, I

adjusted from a visitor visa. I noticed you have a Jamaican flag on your avatar and my background is Jamaican, I am born and raised in

Technically yes that is what they call it, but as a Canadian we dont need a visa to visit the US, we are allowed to stay up to 6 months out

of the year.
