CanadianMade, I feel like I'm peed off at USCIS for you! Every time I log on here and see your name, I'm thinking "Did he get it yet? Is he finally approved?!" It will be a happy day and it's coming soon!

Great news!!! Valerie was approved on Tuesday for her green card! She should receive it in the mail within the next two weeks! So happy that it is all over.....at least for 2 years! ;) Interview was quick and painless. Our interview was scheduled at 9:00 a.m., and we were called in at 9:15. Interview ended at 9:25! The adjudication officer just looked over our paperwork, asked where we met and when we began living together. He then asked for her EAD card and said that she was approved. He didn't ask for ANY type of evidence regarding our relationship. We had bank statements, phone bills, insurance policies...etc. But, he didn't ask for any of them! Unreal! After, Valerie said, "Don't you even want to look at our wedding photo album?" He smiled and said, "I guess I have a few minutes." Kinda amusing. But, for us, it was as easy as could be. I know some people have a little bit of a tougher time than we had, but for everyone preparing for your interview...just relax, be yourself, and don't work yourself up by worrying. If you're marriage is legit and you've done everything the right way from the beginning, you have nothing to worry about! Good luck to everyone, and thank you for all of your input and support during our journey!

How funny, I was thinking about you guys this morning! Congratulations on an easy interview. Good luck!

Hey Beantownbabe oh my gosh that is way too funny, I thank you for your concern, and I am so irate with USCIS it isnt even funny, I mean it has been 24 days since the interview and I havent heard a f***in thing yet. I am checking the mailbox like a mad man and to my disappointment nothing. I get that alot with everyone I know, they ask me the same question that you asked, did you hear anything yet and I have to keep on saying no. It is so sad that it is taking so long to hear something and it seems like everyone is passing by me and even people who filed in Novemeber are getting their answers and approvals before me. I think its so shitty to not know where you stand and the IO didnt say anything to me about pending namecheck or anything so I dont even know if it is that. I am getting quite jealous to be honest of everyones success and my rough experience I had with my interviewer who was such a complete ######. I dont even know what to think, it almost makes me wish I havent gotten the interview so quickly if this was going to happen. Thanks alot and god knows when I will hear something from USCIS.

I got the email 15 minutes after getting a phone call around 1pm in regards to a job interview. Talk about a lucky Friday!

I literally screamed when I saw the email. We are so happy that we can make it for our reception in Toronto. I think Mary is extremely relieved to not have that over her head. Its just too bad - her Nephews b-day Party is this weekend and we really wanted to be there for that. But her family understands.

Hope you guys hear something very soon!

I had my first interview in feb 05, unfortunatly the IO didnt not approved our case because I forgot to brought my SSN and she also wanted to know what I am doing in this corporate company, so had to comeback last wedensday for the 2nd interview, I brought with me a letter of recommendation from the president of the company I work for.In the wating room the IO called my wife and asked me to wait for my turn. Overall, the interview last for 1h:30min,. She explain to us the condition and what we have to do after 2 years, and we have to send our application to a diffrent office. At the end , she said congrats you can expect your Green card within 2 weeks. If you did not received itduring this time frame please make a infopass.

Hello everyone!!

I went to InfoPass yesterday.I brought all my paperwork with me just in case they wanted to see them before my interview date which is next friday.

Well I showed him the notice saying I was asked to make an infopass appointment,so here I am.

He was like "I've never seen a notice like this whoever sent it to you, made a mistake.Just come back for your interview date next friday bring all your documents.Everything is fine."

So we left.:)I was kinda mad that we went there for nothing but again relieved that nothing was wrong with my petition. At least now I know where the place is and what to expect (well kind of;)))

I have all my documents now put together.I can't wait till this is over.Good luck to everyone who has their interview apointments soon!!!

I can only imagine that you guys were excited, I dont blame you, I would be excitied too. That sucks she wasnt able to go to her newphews b-day party, but at least now she can travel to Toronto so that will be really cool. Thanks for the good wishes and hope it comes soon, so my wife and I can go back to Toronto to visit family and friends.

CONGRADS Yass on getting approved for your green card my friend. Damn that sucks you guys had to go through an 2nd interview and it lasted an 1hr:30min that is awful and what kinds of questions where asked in the 2nd interview and how long did you have to wait to get the 2nd interview? Just because you forgot to bring your SSN you had to go in for another interview? How did the 1st interview go if you dont mind me asking? Glad you got through the 2nd time and it sucks to hear you had to go through that.
