Online:

I first met my husband in a thread on a message board of a band we both liked. I was in college in my rented room and I started a thread about this girl in a few of my classes, I started a thread about her boobs because they were like perfect spheres and oh so perky and I wondered if they were real. Yes this is how I met my husband. We started the "Titty Committee" and got random board girls to show us their boobs and we'd rate them. Of course everyone who participated got a 10. By the way, the boobs were always clothed and it was all in good fun. Anyways in his sig was his aim name and I decided to message him and we realized we had so much in common and became good friends.

In person:

Pearson airport in Toronto, he flew up to visit after 8 months of talking online. I had to have a few drinks before hand to gather my nerves before meeting him, but I think I had a few too many and my friend and I busted out in the "Prince of bel air" song for him in the middle of the airport because he's from the Philly area. It could have been a deal breaker, but he liked it.

 THAT is the best how I met my guy story.. close the thread.. NO ONE is going to touch that :)

Computer, at home. Was friends with her long before we got involved. In fact, at first I tried helping her out in her relationship until I realized how abusive her boyfriend (who I ended up talking to to confirm his immaturity and paranoia) was, in which case helped her gather the strength to leave the ######. Comfortable with how well she took the break-up, and how well we bonded during the time we were friends, we decided to give the relationship thing a try. Talked for hours and hours and hours and hours per day. The first few months we averaged (via my Vonage and cell bills) around 8,000 - 10,000 minutes a month. We would also talk online when I was doing work study at the time, watch movies together online, play certain games online together, and just enjoyed doing everything. Finally we met in April, and it was almost as if she was just on vacation. Everything clicked just fine, and the 6 days she was here was just perfect. After filing for the K1 I was a bit pessimistic about things and kept my expectations low that we might fight a bit as it gets closer to marriage time (happened once before), but really our relationship has become more solid and we've taken extra steps to be more understanding, tolerant, and caring.

Couldn't have asked for more, except for this damn petition to hurry it's a$$ up.

we first met in cb chatroom, she had just gotten out of a bad relationship and I tried to talk to her because she was the most beautiful lady i had ever seen. Well at that time she wasnt ready to talk to anyone or see anyone because she was still hurt but she was very nice to me and told me in a nice way that she want ready. well weeks and weeks went by and I tried again to talk to her but she still was not ready still hurt i believe and she again was nice and told me she was not ready. We met online at a game called Second Life. In the game you make a avi and I was gorgeous :) hehe... His avi was different from all the rest of the guys on there.. I was shopping for boots for a event and went to a store and he was there.. I noticed him instantly but was to shy to speak to him. He walked by me and almost bumped into me and typed in open chat sorry I said np and walked away.. then something told me to message him and say hello, couldnt hurt anything so I turned around to click on his avi and he was gone. A few minutes later I remembered he had spoke to me so looked in chat history found his name and messaged him and we have been together ever since. In the game we got married on feb 10,2007. Its a great game and I think it would be fun for alot of you that are away from each other. Its hard to explain how it works but there you can dance together , get married, do lots of things together, dont laugh , just check it out. It kept us sane while apart as if you put your mind into it , you can feel like your really together :)

We met in real the first time when I picked him up at the Bangor Airport in Maine

PS.. if your interested in the game send me a pm and I will help you get set up when you get in there ;)

This is a cool thread! :D

I met my husband in Kuwait.. I was receptionist in the restaurant.. He was our regular guest, and always come there to eat, or even just drink coffee, as in everyday!.. He was very nice to everyone as he is a joker, everything he say has humour so, I did admire him but no one knows.. I used to call him Mr. or Sir.. and he does not like it,he said he feels too old for that.. . Then I found out later from a coworker that he likes me.. I dont know how did it start, but I remember he asked for my phone number, and did talk to him for 2 hours, then went on a couple of dates, we became friends and the rest are history.. We have been together for a year, before we got married, then blessed a honeymoon baby.. Oh well what else can I say.. the blessings keep coming.. I am pregnant again for our second baby.. my first one just turned 2 last July,..

PS.. if your interested in the game send me a pm and I will help you get set up when you get in there ;)

by the way, im working with Tiscali... is it really a good internet provider in UK?

Timeline

i was in a marketplace in luoyang city waiting for a friend/co-worker to pick up lunch. we had ridden bikes from the office that saturday morning to buy new office furniture. he was in the mcdonalds, and i was watching the bikes so they wouldn't be stolen.

a chinese girl walked up to me and asked me if i was lost. her question was reasonale, as there were less than a dozen resident foreigners in this town of 5 million chinese, but plenty of lost tourists. she knew this, because she was an english speaking tour guide. of course not, i told her, i live here. we talked for a few minutes, and i asked for her number, because so few epople speak english in luoyang that when you find one you remember them.

before my friend and i left for work, i invited her to dinner at the restaraunt across the street. we met there at 7, and didn't stop talking till 2 in the morning. i gave her a ride home on the back of my bike. we saw each other a couple of times a week for the next month as friends. then, one night, i looked across the table into her eyes and said to myself, holy cow, this is a woman. what am i supposed to do next?
