This morning I had a good laugh at the absurdity of The Cow Lady situation. A few minutes ago I was perusing the engrish.com site when I came across this pic:

bacterium-with-chicken.jpg

Note the menu choice at the top right-hand corner.... Bacterium with chicken. Wasn't China in the news not so long ago with diseased/dead/dying chicken problems? I'm thinking maybe they meant mushrooms.

Grossss! The Cow Lady was so funny...she's been arrested over 50 times! Maybe someone needs to adopt the 3 strikes your out law in that state!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Our 2nd floor tenants didn't pay their electricity bill and now there is no power in our basement.. we have these crazy steep stairs and when I go down to do the laundry (our dryer still works cause it's on our power bill), i almost fall down the stairs.. that's weird.. I can't believe after ALL the things they do up there (loud (we've complained numerous times), they don't pay their rent on time, they have no electricity, they have a junk car parked in our precious parking spot, they steal our laundry soap & dryer sheets- our landlord (who has no guts) refuses to kick them out.. Meanwhile, we are good tenants, we pay bills on time, we call when there are issues with the building as a heads up (our landlord lives in Florida) etc. GAH!!!!! It's absurd!!!

My idea of absurd is that the 2nd floor tenants pay for the lighting on the communal stairs/basement.

I guess someone has to!! :) we pay for 1/2 the lights down there, the storage area at the back we pay for :) tee hee.. they use the laundry more than we do (they have a gazillion kids living up there) so I guess it works out :)
