Folks,

I am a US citizen with CR1 immigrant petition for my wife. I am the agent for my wife. I get the DS-230 form Part 1 via mail by NVC.My wife completes it and I send it back. Once the file goes to the Embassy, do they send the form DS-230 Part 1 back again to my wife in Packet 3? But dont we already fill it out at NVC stage? Is it required to be filled again with the same information?

Someone please help....

Thanks

Someone can correct me if I am wrong (and I am sure they will), but I think she will get the DS-230 part 2. Take note all they sent you from NVC was part 1. Filing for CR-1, I don't believe you get packet 3, but packet 4 instead.

timandbethanie is correct. If you were required by NVC to only submit DS-230 part I to them, then DS-230 part II will come to you in what is referred to as packet 4 from the consulate. This is completed but NOT signed. It will be signed at the interview when you are asked to do so.
