Hi,

I'm new member here in Vj I just want to ask something that has been bothering me since we filed our papers.

I'm going to have my medical soon but I had my genital warts history. And I have some scars from my surgery I had. I had my test for HIV and I'm totally clean.

questions

1.Do you think guys I;mgoing to have problem with medical?

2.Or the medical examiner see the scars, do i have to tell the truth?

3.will this truth probably affect my medical? do you guys think I will pass the medical?

please help guys.

Having had a look at CDC Communicable diseases list (which from what I understand is what they fail medicals on) genital warts are not on this list.

The examiner will examine your 'bits', so will probably see the scars. You MUST tell the truth or risk the examiner reporting that you lied and this doesn't do your petition any favours. So it's more a case of an absence of truth affecting your petition, rather than a treated condition being identified.

Don't forget, the medical examiner works for the embassy and not you, so patient/ doctor confidentiality goes out the window if you give them any cause for concern...
