good morning everyone, we are still sick here. my voice is GONE but I think my 12year old (and probably my husband, for that matter) are happy about that development. I hope everyone has a great day!

:lol: Sorry you're sick but that made me laugh a little.

Does anyone else's husband say "as you wish" when you want to do something that they don't want to do but you're in a wicked bad mood (pms) and he is sick of trying to convince you otherwise? I get "as you wish" on a daily basis lately! :rofl:

OMG the house smells AMAZING right now! I put some garam masala in the lamb shanks and the whole house smells so good!

I still haven't seen it. I also still haven't been able to wake my husband up. He keeps saying "ten more minutes". That's another phrase he's famous for. I should make a list:

"as you wish"

"ten more minutes"

"what is this thing" (thing could mean anything, not just inanimate objects)

"what can I do to make your life easier my love?" (this one's my favorite! :dance::dance: )

oh and one more I can't type because I'm not sure how to pronounce the whole thing in arabic but basically when I ask "why" a thousand times he always answers "because a wuz witneen kilo muz" which is supposed to mean "because the monkeys took the kilo of bananas" or something like that.

It would be fun to write a book...LOL :P

My husband is the master at sarcasm and American slang. It still shocks me that he grew up his entire life in Egypt. He loves to tease me that I need to work on my accent or English. That big meanie!!! :devil:

I cant believe it is done and boy do i need a drink

it will be nice to eat normal meals from now on
