Dropped hubby off in Boston this am at 6:30am

I haven't checked boston.com yet but by the looks of the video he took there were at least a thousand people at the Reggie Lewis center celebrating Eid! He said it was just amazing seeing so many people from so many different countries. Now he's sleepin' (he pulled an all nighter), the lamb is in the oven cooking and I"m working. :(

Nawal that is so scarey!!!!

Jen that happened to me with my dvr too but luckily the fios people fixed it via the telephone but I was so ticked on Monday 'cause there I was watching Drake n Josh with my 11 yr old and realized the red light wasn't on so I missed 1/2 of Heroes!

Hi everyone! Happy bday to Lisa and ta me go! Hope it's a good one!

Wow the event sounds so fun in Boston! :D I'm glad your husband had a good time!

I tried for almost an hour over the phone trying to reprogram the stupid remote but after probably 50 codes he had me punch it, it still didn't work. :crying: They aren't coming until MONDAY. How can I live without fast forwarding until then?! Last night I attempted to watch "The Biggest Loser" all the way through and it was torture!

Sara, I hope you get better soon. I've been sick for about three weeks now and have coughing fits a few times a day now. I'm so sick of it!

I'm drooling...Lamb!

It was scary and I have learned a lesson truly. Some things I would do different (praying it never happens again). My father keeps yelling he wants me to get a concealed weapon permit! Umm...does he want me to get shot? LOL That would be my luck! I think pepper spray and my big mouth work just fine!

So many people are getting sick here and at my job. I’m SO getting a flu shot and SOON! I don't want any part of what’s flying around work right now.

good morning everyone, we are still sick here. my voice is GONE but I think my 12year old (and probably my husband, for that matter) are happy about that development. I hope everyone has a great day!

 Sorry you're sick but that made me laugh a little.

Does anyone else's husband say "as you wish" when you want to do something that they don't want to do but you're in a wicked bad mood (pms) and he is sick of trying to convince you otherwise? I get "as you wish" on a daily basis lately!

I still haven't seen it. I also still haven't been able to wake my husband up. He keeps saying "ten more minutes". That's another phrase he's famous for. I should make a list:

"as you wish"

"ten more minutes"

"what is this thing" (thing could mean anything, not just inanimate objects)

"what can I do to make your life easier my love?" (this one's my favorite!:dance: )

oh and one more I can't type because I'm not sure how to pronounce the whole thing in arabic but basically when I ask "why" a thousand times he always answers "because a wuz witneen kilo muz" which is supposed to mean "because the monkeys took the kilo of bananas" or something like that.
