good morning everyone, we are still sick here. my voice is GONE but I think my 12year old (and probably my husband, for that matter) are happy about that development. I hope everyone has a great day!

I wish Malak would call me mama :crying: , she calls me "Annie"....no one here calls me mommy, so I guess I'm outta luck til she is a little older and knows I'm mommy to her. She does however say "dadadadadadada" ALL the time, she misses her daddy.

Abed arrives in Lexington, KY (FINALLY! What a rough trip for him!): October 17, 2008, 8:47am EST

Biometrics Appt: May 13, 2009

RFE: May 11, 2009 (received May 14, 2009)

Sent in RFE (that we had already included in the original packet!): May 26, 2009

Resumed Processing: June 1, 2009

EAD Card Production Ordered: June 10, 2009 (thank you GOD!!)

Received EAD card: June 20, 2009

2nd Daughter Born: July 13, 2009

Interview Date: July 31, 2009...easy, breezy...Card Production Ordered!

Received 10 year green card : August 14, 2009

Baby Boy is born: May 17, 2012

Apply for Citizenship: October 22, 2012

Interview: January 11, 2013

Oath Date: April 12, 2013 (Covington, KY)

done Done and DONE!!! Praise God!

Now we get to work on getting his family to the US!!

I had a freaky incident on Monday night. A man jumped in my truck while I was at the post office. I'm still freaked about it.... :blink:

That sounds rather scary - no wonder you are still shaken about it - how did you get him out????

Happy Hump Day MENA! (F)

I had a freaky incident on Monday night. A man jumped in my truck while I was at the post office. I'm still freaked about it.... :blink:

That sounds rather scary - no wonder you are still shaken about it - how did you get him out????

Screaming and cursing at him loudly at the top of my lungs (outside my vehicle). A man and woman from the post office finally came running out. When he saw them, he took off running. He was drunk and smelled horrible. It was the scariest thing ever. In the midst of it...I forgot to use my panic button, hardly looked at his face because I was just so scared and screaming, etc. So many things I could have done but froze.

Also, just a FYI. Out of habit, I double click my alarm. DON'T do this! I swear its the one reason he jumped right in. I have a tendency to do this extra clicking on my alarm while walking to my car. I have to break the habit! :(

Makes me think my current stress is so trivial (well, I already knew it is...HAHA!) my DV-R remote isn't working and I have to wait until Monday to get any answers. No more fast forwarding through commercials for me! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

It was frightening. But I'm really thankful I didn't have the twins with me. I think I might have killed him. :whistle:

:rofl: OMG that is tooo stressful. I get freaked if the internet or cable is out! I'm currently catching up on LOST episodes and I'd be very depressed! :devil:
