WE PAID DV TWO MONTHS BEFORE THE INTERVIEW. HAD INTERVIEW AUG. SIX STILL WAITING!!!!

Thats terrible..i fear the worst for the pending applicants...o boi...i dont want to speculate but cant help my mind cook up things like - could be that USEM has a new instruction re audit or verification of documents beyond NSO thats why the document audit takes a "million years" for them to finish?? just a wild thought...

StephnRia how come you pay 1,300? it should be 650 only as what i know and said..

I paid for 2 DV na para tapos na usapan. Its the two of us kasi e...me and my son. I dont know if they need to verify my son'r documents or since I have two annulments, they might want to verify those two... para tapusin na nila.

Hi PingLocalHostess. I was reading your timeline and got curious about how you knew that NSO sent your DV to USEM on Oct 3? Wow, you are almost there :)

We (Matt and I) call USEM every monday or tuesday for updates since my interview. Last call was with Grace (who told me i should call the call center coz 301-2000 are for petitioners). I bit my tongue and begged (im not the begging type but ermm) for her to give me info. She took pity, asked for my case number, placed me on hold and she came back after a few minutes, verified that i am who i claim to be... then she told me that they just recently gotten my DV from NSO. But (theres always a but grrrr) they havent reviewed it yet and my case hasnt been updated. I was told to wait a couple of weeks (what?!).

HoneySkin, almost is not good enough ;) .... not nearly there... till i get that text from Delbros that its gonna be delivered. I cant smell my visa yet. I think false hope will kill me :P.

thanks for sharing that information, will probably be useful for me someday. Seems like regular follow-up helps. As far as i am concerned, you have gotten over the critical part you are just going though a little bottleneck right now :) unlike me, i am still way behind the pipeline... i have been processing my I-129F since January of this year...now, that makes you very fortunate than me

Yeah, i would say i was lucky with all the other stuff.... except my luck ran out after my interview hahahahaha. Thats coz i wasnt aware about the DV thing... has to be paid 6 weeks before my interview. So its partially my fault. But man!.... NSO is SO slow :P.

I tell yah, followup... it tells them that you and your petitioner are interested. And you do wanna know whats going on.

HoneySkin, look on the bright side. We werent sent to FPU (fraud protection unit?). :)
