Everyone has the odd gaffe at one time or another - Biden is no exception. Some have more (and worse gaffes) than others - in which respect George W Bush would seem to be the winner by a wide margin.

The difference here however, is that (unlike Palin) Biden was able to maintain a train of thought and not choke or rattle off a series of half-baked party political soundbites.
