Girl, I am sorry to hear this but you should get an implant because your other teeth are going to space out trying to fill up the spce that is there. I hoep you can get some solace out of all this ;)

Thanks :D I plan on eventually getting an implant. Hopefully when my insurance kicks back in. I have reached my limit for the year :crying:

So for all you smart dentisty people out there. The tooth is all the way in the back. The last tooth. I know that if you have a gap between teeth that they will come together and try to fill the space but if it is the last tooth in the row will the other teeth shift upwards?

My one on the left has been out about 8 years now and it's not really closed much at all. The one on the right has been about 4 years and while I can tell the little bit of shift, it's been minimal and mostly it's the tooth at the very back that is coming forward.

Well, JG you've seen my huge horse teeth. None of mine have shifted either. I took out 2 on the left side and 2 on the right side. The first 2 I took out more than 10 years ago and none of my teeth have shifted (THANK GOD)!

Actually this scares me a little. I am beginning to feel like they are herding everyone toward the finish line because some big monster of a change in Imm Law is coming down the pike line. Almost like Jurassic Park when the big dinos started running away from T-Rex...:crying:

Maybe another fee hike that will rush new petitions into the office again? Dang.

i just think its b/c it was so backed up and noone was getting out of VSC for so long then they all did at one time??? Its only CR1 that is having the gap I think

Nah...K1s are moving rapidly too. I am so happy that they finally started closing the gap for you CR1s....that wait has to be pure torture.

well, i didnt mean we moving rapidly in CR-1 (I wish!!)

but I am saying that there is a gap between dates of case complete at NVC. like there are cases approved in June then they scatter out until October really

does that make sense?

I'm so restless. I just want to get up and run or jump or something. I feel like something is about to happen but I don't know what. Shoot!

I absolutely hate that feeling! Or when you have dreams and you know they mean something but you can't figure it out *ugh* I hope you get some clarity soon.

Looks like the Embassy in Jamaica is stepping up it's game. They called my cousin and asked if he wanted to do his interview a few weeks earlier. He's scheduled for December 3rd. She gave him several options and a number to call her back before 4pm today after he talks to his wife.

HEY BABY GIRL..HOW DID IT GO

Morning Yards - how did you make out yesterday?

Thanks Yards. How did the oral surgeon visit go yesterday???

Thanks y'all for asking :D

It didn't go very well. They say that they could do this surgery thing for $950 (insurance doesn't cover any of it) to try to save the tooth and put on a crown but there is no guarantee it will work and based on everything it will most likely fail in the next couple months or years. Just no way of knowing. Or they can take out the tooth and call it a loss. So that is what I decided - just have them take it out. I don't have $950 to spend on something that is going to fail down the road anyways. So I go in on Tuesday (election day) and they will take out the tooth and do some sort of clean out thing to the roots cause there is infection and leave it at that. Can you believe the oral surgeon wouldn't just take the tooth out yesterday?! "sorry but we only do root canal procedures not extractions" - so back to the other dentist I go  This whole thing is ridiculous. I can opt to get an implant down the line if I want but those are mass expensive as well :( Luckily it is way in the back so it won't be anything visible. I can't wait for this all to be over. If I didn't like going to the dentist before I sure hate it now.

Yards ...that's crazy!! I did medical transcription for an oral surgeon and that's what he did all the time - extractions!!! He extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth!!

Did they slow down right before the most recent changes went into effect? Look at how fast they can actually push the workload. I think they slow down to force OT then when they are burned out from all the OT, they start knocking cases out. Do they get OT at the Embassy (I mean the US employees)...hmmmm.

I'm so restless. I just want to get up and run or jump or something. I feel like something is about to happen but I don't know what. Shoot!

I would think that they must get OT - can't imagine the gov't would work them without getting it. And I know they were working on Sundays cuz A got a interview time change call on a Sunday.

Ya okay Jawi? I get restless when I have something heavy on my mind - that's when I get the best exercise cuz I try to burn that restlessness outta me.

Haaaaaaaa

The woman from the embassy called him back and asked if he's decided on which date to except, he told her his wife is in clinicals and she won't be out until 3:30. She said she'll call him back at 4:30. Funny thing is he said some woman called him from the US embassy and he thought it was one of his sisters playing a joke on him. He couldn't understand a damn thing she was saying on the voicemail. So, he called me and let me listen to the message. The lady was very polite.

I thought it was a joke when A got a call on Sunday too. I sent them an e-mail to confirm cuz mi not believe.

She really wants to push him through. He should say "hey, why don't you just grant my visa without an interview and we'll call it a day...." ;)

I'm not sure when the case was completed. They got through the process pretty quickly. They got married in December last year and I guess she filed all the paperwork in Janaury. He called her back. She asked if he wanted November 7th. He told her that's not enough time to do the medical. She told him it's possible, since the facility where he can get the medical done is in Kingston. He said that's okay. So, he choose the 21st of November. Who else have that date?
