Since unu so quiet at wurk...unu fi come help mi

I love FRITTERS....

I've seen people mix saltfish up with just about anything. I can't believe ACKEE is $18.75 a can! It will stay right on the shelf.

I can't even find it here now. Last time I found it was right after they had that poisoning scare and stopped exporting. I paid almost $20 a can. The little guy rang up my 2 cans, looked at the total, actually stepped back with his mouth open and said, that must be some good shyt!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Actually this scares me a little. I am beginning to feel like they are herding everyone toward the finish line because some big monster of a change in Imm Law is coming down the pike line. Almost like Jurassic Park when the big dinos started running away from T-Rex...:crying:

Maybe another fee hike that will rush new petitions into the office again? Dang.

i just think its b/c it was so backed up and noone was getting out of VSC for so long then they all did at one time??? Its only CR1 that is having the gap I think

Me too Lawny

Shrewdy - how do you like to prepare your saltfish? What types of dishes? If I could I would add saltfish to everything

well. we do it with veggies (my favorite)

butter beans

macaroni

callilou

and I HATE HATE HATE when the chef seasons it with ketchup and it gets that sweet taste. puke.

yardie...my husband would add it to everything too..no worries :)

shrewdy i was told by jgay80 that you were the one that gave her the idea to check with nvc. i was thanking her because if i didn't see that she got an interview date i wouldn't have called nvc and found out about my date as well. good looking out girl.

I am so happy for all you guys!!! It seems that MAYBE (FINGERS CROSSED) they are going to start busting out interviews. There seems to be a big gap between July and late spetember/October case complete dates...do you think that has anything to do with the big backup that happened at USCIS?

I think it does....

let me say this again. THEY ARE ASSIGNING DATES FOR DECEMBER. MINE IS DECEMBER 11, AT 9AM

too bad i cant grab one of those december dates!

Claim it...speak it and pray. I'm praying for you to get a December date. (F)

''Thanks Jawi. It would truly be a miracle :)

i really feel you won't have to wait as long as we did because if they are scheduling dates at the end of the month then maybe by the end of november they would have already schedule for january.

Girl, I am sorry to hear this but you should get an implant because your other teeth are going to space out trying to fill up the spce that is there. I hoep you can get some solace out of all this ;)

Thanks :D I plan on eventually getting an implant. Hopefully when my insurance kicks back in. I have reached my limit for the year :crying:

So for all you smart dentisty people out there. The tooth is all the way in the back. The last tooth. I know that if you have a gap between teeth that they will come together and try to fill the space but if it is the last tooth in the row will the other teeth shift upwards?

My one on the left has been out about 8 years now and it's not really closed much at all. The one on the right has been about 4 years and while I can tell the little bit of shift, it's been minimal and mostly it's the tooth at the very back that is coming forward.

I didn't on either and it's been a long time. They are fine cause they are so far back. That implant thing was around $1,000 too.

That's kind of what I was thinking too. I will do it if necessary but to be honest I want nothing to do with no dyam dentist anytime soon

I think there are going to be changes with the new administration. But, I think it will take them a while to settle in and make them.

Did they slow down right before the most recent changes went into effect? Look at how fast they can actually push the workload. I think they slow down to force OT then when they are burned out from all the OT, they start knocking cases out. Do they get OT at the Embassy (I mean the US employees)...hmmmm.

I'm so restless. I just want to get up and run or jump or something. I feel like something is about to happen but I don't know what. Shoot!
