Hey ladies, wha gwaan today?

How is everyone? Today im running between the two jobs, and about to get on the road and drive 40 minutes back to my primary job. I am so mad at job two they scheduled me on a shift i told them i cant work this upcoming saturday due to a previous function and they schedule me any dyam way, so anyhoo i ask if anyone can switch with me and everyone is looking at me like

phockers, thats ok, i dont care who is getting married, having sex change surgery, going into labor, going on vacation, none of that, im NOT APPROVING NOBODY ANY TIME OFF>>>NOW TAKE THAT PHOCKERS....lol

i am the program manager, and then there is another unit manager and we rotate days off between my little kids unit and the teenagers unit, so anyway she is saying this is the first weekend i have had off since JULY...so she doesnt want to come in and work it for me, which i understand but dyam !!!! so now im stuck unless someone comes thru for me by tomorrow and helps me out!!!! if i can get a youth specialist to cover, there will be another staff on shift though technically there is always supposed to be a weekend mgr working. This dyam job is invading in the little bit of life i have left,,,

Shrewdy - how do you like to prepare your saltfish? What types of dishes? If I could I would add saltfish to everything

well. we do it with veggies (my favorite)

and I HATE HATE HATE when the chef seasons it with ketchup and it gets that sweet taste. puke.

Did you know that there is sugar free ketchup now? It can be pricey but it definitely doesn't have that sugary sweet flavor plus less calories. Sure helps those that like to add ketchup to everything to make the sauce

shrewdy i was told by jgay80 that you were the one that gave her the idea to check with nvc. i was thanking her because if i didn't see that she got an interview date i wouldn't have called nvc and found out about my date as well. good looking out girl.

I am so happy for all you guys!!! It seems that MAYBE (FINGERS CROSSED) they are going to start busting out interviews. There seems to be a big gap between July and late spetember/October case complete dates...do you think that has anything to do with the big backup that happened at USCIS?

Girl, I am sorry to hear this but you should get an implant because your other teeth are going to space out trying to fill up the spce that is there. I hoep you can get some solace out of all this

Thanks I plan on eventually getting an implant. Hopefully when my insurance kicks back in. I have reached my limit for the year

So for all you smart dentisty people out there. The tooth is all the way in the back. The last tooth. I know that if you have a gap between teeth that they will come together and try to fill the space but if it is the last tooth in the row will the other teeth shift upwards?

Actually this scares me a little. I am beginning to feel like they are herding everyone toward the finish line because some big monster of a change in Imm Law is coming down the pike line. Almost like Jurassic Park when the big dinos started running away from T-Rex...

It didn't go very well. They say that they could do this surgery thing for $950 (insurance doesn't cover any of it) to try to save the tooth and put on a crown but there is no guarantee it will work and based on everything it will most likely fail in the next couple months or years. Just no way of knowing. Or they can take out the tooth and call it a loss. So that is what I decided - just have them take it out. I don't have $950 to spend on something that is going to fail down the road anyways. So I go in on Tuesday (election day) and they will take out the tooth and do some sort of clean out thing to the roots cause there is infection and leave it at that. Can you believe the oral surgeon wouldn't just take the tooth out yesterday?! "sorry but we only do root canal procedures not extractions" - so back to the other dentist I go This whole thing is ridiculous. I can opt to get an implant down the line if I want but those are mass expensive as well Luckily it is way in the back so it won't be anything visible. I can't wait for this all to be over. If I didn't like going to the dentist before I sure hate it now.

I didn't on either and it's been a long time. They are fine cause they are so far back. That implant thing was around $1,000 too.

jawi and lawny hope you two are feeling better today.

Omg, just left a meeting at the foster care program, and so anyhoo, one of my little girls who was supposed to be adopted by a family member, has been having weekend family visits with her cousin who is adopting her, anyway she came back real late on sunday night while i was working with her hair all braided in individuals looking all cute, so i was happy for her but a little concerned as to the time that she was returned back to the unit, the cousin had taken all of the braids and braided this llittle girl one inbraid down the back, i didnt think nothing about it, well come monday morning staff went to help her get her hair together for school and was gonna grease the girl scalp, well the little girl flinched, YALL staff undid this inbraid and why is all of this babies hair missing out the back of her head!!!! according to the little girl, her older sister who is biological but in another home placement came to visit and they got into a fight, now mind you the older sister who is 13 got her own issues as well, grabbed her by the back of her head and drug her across the floor by her hair, and the cousin claim she was getting groceries out the car when it happened. These kids cant catch a dyam break, and now i have had to suspend any further overnights between the cousin and this child until CPS can further investigate. I hope that this doesnt stop the adoption from going thru, but im pretty certain it will , as the state will say that this cousin isnt keeping this child safe when she is in her care. Yall pray for these babies, they need it and we dont want them to grow up being phocked up adults.

THANK YOU. I GOT CARRIED AWAY ON THE PHONE WITH THE VISA OFFICER TELLING HER MY LIFE STORY AND SCREAMING LIKE A MAD PERSON. IT IS OVERWHELMING BECAUSE I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS THE END OF OCTOBER BUT I AIN'T COMPLAINING.
