jawi.. i will tell u after Jan

I can tell u bout when I knew he WANTED to marry me.

we were having some misunderstanding, and for whatever reason he was doubting my desire to continue our relationship. w/ the ex issues this happens alot...

he told me "i am upset, becuz i am in love with you Quana, and u are the person I see myself spending the rest of my life with." I was speechless and my eyes started tearing up..I will never forget that conversation.

L8r he asked if it was possible to be engaged while u were still married LOL

Hey ladies. How did your SO propose to you? Was he very romantic or was is very matter of fact?

Not romantic at all. I kinda asked him first and he said no. He denies it to this day  Then he proposed a week later over the phone then again on our next visit....still don't remember no romance.

German is what is killing us this year. I am of German heritage and I still can't make heads or tails out of most of that language......just the few words dad and grandpa spoke growing up. Thank God son took it a few years ago so he can help her out.

I keep saying, why couldn't you take Italian or Spanish.....something I know!

My daughter takes Japanese 3  She probably calls us every name in the book :innocent: .

 Sweet and innocent miss calling out her parents in Japanese  Never :rofl:

 I agree. A and I always talk about the differences and I feel like JA as a whole has a better education system. Children seem to be well ahead of grade level when compared to their US counterparts (like Lawns was saying) and I really like that there is still religion taught and recognized in schools in JA. Children in JA have more respect for teachers for the most part and are much more disciplined from what I have seen. I don't have any personal experience but just from what I witnessed or have heard from some teacher friends in JA I think the JA education can be better than a US education - especially in the younger years.

 and that's why I sent Kimora to Catholic school...

 and that is why we will be homeschooling

Yardie, u are such a good wife not to go without him. I don't know if I could do it.. Would u not go on ANY trip or just not back to JA since that is his home. I know that would be a slap in the face.. i guess but u deserve a trip and if u are paying for it CHA!!!!

I was suppose to go for a walk during lunch but decided to visit VJ and eat 3 flavored popcorn and wonder why I can't lose any weight

The Private school I went to in Jamaica was a Catholic School...they were so strict. We couldn't speak PATWAH at all. The school was ran by some church organization from England.

Hey ladies. How did your SO propose to you? Was he very romantic or was is very matter of fact?

Well we had talked about marriage before - cause we discussed that we were dating for marriage. I knew that he had called my mom and asked her blessing so I knew it was coming but wasn't sure when and where. I almost ruined it because he was suppose to meet me by his place at like 5 in the evening...well he didn't show up and I got tired of waiting so come 7ish I started to go back to my yard and planned on meeting up with some people. I must admit - I was vex. I was cussing "dis man a tek mi fi joke...wha him tink mi a go wait pon him fi hours like mi nah haf nuttin else fi do? *kissteet* mek mi show him *cho* Luckily he caught up with me on the road and took me back to his place. Apologized for being so late and got down on one knee and said "I was late cause I was getting you this" pulled out this gorgeous ring and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes :luv:
