Morning everyone!!

We got another RFE!! This time on the I864 because I didn't complete the optional part 7 showing assets. I didn't think that was necessary if you were over the poverty lines.

Anyway it's just a temporary setback that I hope doesn't affect the EAD. We're going for biometrics tomorrow.

I'm looking for opinions, espeically those of you who went to school in both JA and in the US. Do you feel that one has better academic strengths than the other or are equal?

Hey TL; I went to school in Jamaica until I was 9. My parents intended for my brother and I to go to school in Jamaica until we were ready for college then we would move to the states, but my dad said he can't live in the states without his kids, so we moved. In my opinion, I had better schooling in Jamaica, but I went to a private school and I was also 2 grades ahead of the students here in the states. It was very difficult for me to adjust to school in states. I got bored easily, because they were learning things I had studied 2 years ago.

And what's your opinion if you were not in a private school but a public school?

i just noticed on my ticker that tomorrow will make one year since we filed our I130..and we are still at NVC. I HATE THIS

Shrewdgal, you seem to be feeling much better today, so the RFE wasn't all that bad as you thought. Glad to see you feeling better today. Your time is near.

oh yeah- I cant believe I forgot to come back and tell you guys!

When I got the first RFE the operator didnt know why. she knew the form and the questiosn..but we couldnt find any reason on those questions..so i corrected what I thought might be wrong (I only found something on one question) and sent it again because they said it woudl take about 15 days. she said she was going to note my file and send it to an officer for review and see what they said was wrong.

Anyway- they only found something on one question and thats what the letter was, just a more SPECIFIC RFE..

whatever.

Im so frustrated. I filed for an expedite and I am praying I get it. they emailed KNG Friday but havent heard anything. Pray for us girls!!!!

Good for you!! Don't know unless you try - and you are definitely worthy of trying.

Why does my mother insist on getting stuff that kids don't like. This year she giving out pretzels. Ugh!

I cut the paper, inked the edges and the pages, punched circles and cut them, and drew the stitches. It was time consuming. But, I am liking the look.

If that was true, Tre, they should've put you in a gifted program. That's what I went through. Very accelerated.
