I'm looking for opinions, espeically those of you who went to school in both JA and in the US. Do you feel that one has better academic strengths than the other or are equal?

This was a conversation A and I had this morning. His son's mother, who is here under the radar, said that Jr is better off going to school in JA. I only know school in the US so I can't compare.

This will largely depend on the area he is going to school in, in JA. The richer schools are excellent. The poorer communities have more issues. All in all, same as the US.

Hey Lawny Chica! I'm in pain...decided to come on and catch up with the chat last night. I'm so freaking miserable right now.

Pain...lawd a wah appen...wah mi miss. Girl, I'm sorry get better soon. I'm still not feeling well, but I'm at work.

I thought you knew. It started last year with one herniated disc. Recently the pain has gotten a lot worse. I went back to the doctor, and found out that I now have two more herniated discs, for a total of three. I was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease? Claire keep me honest. So, I'm electing to undergo surgery. The doc hasn't called to tell me when...so now I just wait...in pain.

Shrewdie I know it's hard to remain strong. It's okay to lay down your burden. God will not fail. What God joined, let no man (or USCIS) put asunder. A breakthrough is coming honey.

Hey TL; I went to school in Jamaica until I was 9. My parents intended for my brother and I to go to school in Jamaica until we were ready for college then we would move to the states, but my dad said he can't live in the states without his kids, so we moved. In my opinion, I had better schooling in Jamaica, but I went to a private school and I was also 2 grades ahead of the students here in the states. It was very difficult for me to adjust to school in states. I got bored easily, because they were learning things I had studied 2 years ago.

U know what, everytime it rains in JA my husband is always like, all he wants to be doing is making love to me. I didn't realize that rain made all men hornballs! I remembered there was one night in particular a couple of years back in JA, and it literally rained the entire night...let's just say Belly didn't stop until the rain did

Not all men. It makes my hubby sad. His sister died on a rainy night.

Shrewdgal, you seem to be feeling much better today, so the RFE wasn't all that bad as you thought. Glad to see you feeling better today. Your time is near.

oh yeah- I cant believe I forgot to come back and tell you guys!

When I got the first RFE the operator didnt know why. she knew the form and the questiosn..but we couldnt find any reason on those questions..so i corrected what I thought might be wrong (I only found something on one question) and sent it again because they said it woudl take about 15 days. she said she was going to note my file and send it to an officer for review and see what they said was wrong.

Anyway- they only found something on one question and thats what the letter was, just a more SPECIFIC RFE..

whatever.

Im so frustrated. I filed for an expedite and I am praying I get it. they emailed KNG Friday but havent heard anything. Pray for us girls!!!!
