Hi, Ja English, how is your job coming along?

Really liking it!Get free dental, free health insurance, extra time by clocking in early etc....My husband is pushing me to apply for other jobs paying more, but I really want to stay a while....I'm doing insurance billing which normally you have to go to school for, so I think a year of experience would be great for me careerwise....

I would stay it can lead to other things so long as you use all opportunities offered. That is howl I got into my current position reviewing healhcare contracts. I started in a low paying job but the position supported all the other positions and I learned about all the other positions I also took advantage of training offered by the company and got certifications. NOw I get paid more than people who went to school to do what I do.

I am a firm believer in staying at a job for at least a year. You can't get the real feel for it in a short time. You add to your resume. And, you never know where the on the job knowledge and training you are currently getting could lead you. If you like it, it's a bigger plus.

Did anyone see Adam Sandberg on Saturday Night Live last night? My friend just called me about the College Rasta skit he did last night. Tomorrow, when I am on the better, faster, work computer, I am going to see if it's on YouTube.

She said it was hilarious.

Hubby's friend from Florida called today and I heard him telling her about his DMV issues yesterday. And, he was telling her the LOC and renewing his passport. He had the nerve to say he can't wait to apply for citizenship cause HE's tired of all the paperwork. I just looked at him and sucked teeth. HE'S tired of all the paperwork????? I'm sure his hand is cramping from signing his name so freakin' much.

Still cursing under my breath.

You dont do a thing, he will probably be tired, excited, overwhelmed and scared all at the same time. Has he ever been on a plane? you settle him in ,feed him, show him the house, run him a bath and then welcome your new husband :thumbs:

okie dokie....lol He said he wanted pizza :wacko: That's easy enough though. lol This will be his first timeon the plane. I wrote him a little note that I will read because I can't remember the words. LMAO I will also get a bottle of champagne. I think that will be enough for the night.

Very nice welcoming gift Sunny!! I agree with Honey - it's going to be a long day for him. Take him home for a warm "fresh" and relax in your new life together.

I'm so excited for you girl!! It will be the best Halloween you have ever had.
