Oh clairern I had my flu shot two weeks ago. Now just have to drag DH to get his. I had one last year when I was pregnant and still got the flu. Hopefully it will work this year. :star:

I am sure what you had was a mild version and if you had not gotten the flu shot, it would have been worse and might have endangered the baby's life

You all are too funny - I left work early to come home and babysit my Mom :girlwerewolf2xn: and just got back online - I was supposed to be working from home, lol - She's sleeping now so I can work!

I HATE HATE HATE to clean - any of you that love it are more than welcome to clean my house, I will gladly cook for you, lol I can even make homemade ravioli! DJ likes to cook too - he cooks for me everytime I am there, I love it. He's also open to new foods, which is good -

I hate anything to do with housework. I will cook sometime. i would rather clean an adult poop than clean house...:rofl:

Hi Claire, I just got back a few minutes ago from Charlottee, NC and my allergies got the best of me. I have been miserable all weekend long. How are you doing? When my allergies act up, my asthma will start to act up, and I am trying to go to JA for the entire month of Nov. I still need to get the flu shot before I go, and every time I get it, I tend to get sick a couple of weeks later. I know it is not from the virus, it just tend to make my asthma act up. AH, I'm so tired now, I am not sure what I should do.

LOL. Yes it is very open. We sit on the Southside of the stadium which never gets sun. So it is very cold. We wear our snowmobile suits. He got one and went last year in December. He also got long underwear and we alway have those heating packs in our boots and gloves. Yes it gets fridge. I remember it being -9 one game and not feeling my toes and being barley able to walk when the game end. I run to the bathroom just to warm up.

A Sox game in June and it was cold. You would never make it through a fridge Bears games. Is the Ram's Stadium covered?

Would you an Andre ever consider moving up here? Why would you want to live in Chicago? I mean I love it. I miss being in the burbs close to the city.

I am not sure what it is about Chicago that captivates me. It's always been my favorite city. My daughter feels the same way. I was thrilled when we took hubby a few years ago and he felt it too. I prefer around Halsted....Briar.....somewhere that way. I love the big city, small town feel. Awesome public transportation. In reality, I know that it is much more expensive then I could ever deal with. So, I'll settle for the yearly/bi-yearly visit for now.

And, of course, I could never be a Cubs fan!:no::no::no::no::no: Couldn't even pretend.

Yes, the Rams play in a dome. I've never even been there yet to see a game. Too expensive. It's nice....really nice. I took my daughter and a neighbor to see N'SYNC there. Beautiful place.

We are going to a hockey game next. One game and hubby's hooked and can't stop talking about it.

Andre whipped out his long underwear yesterday. It's a whopping upper 40's at night. I told him it's going to be a long winter if he's already complaining!

 at Cubs fan and Andre.

D says it is cold but he is leaving the house with Jaylyn not wrapped in a blanket. He is like she is only outside for a minute. So I went and bought a cover for her car seat today and he was complaining it was to complicated so I unzipped it and said look you don't have to take the cover on and off.

:bonk:

Thank goodness Dad pays for the season tickets the price is outrages. You don't even want to know how much he paid for each seat license and parking. We also have season tickets for the first time this year to the Blackhawk hockey games but Dwain and I am skipping them this year. It is just to much sports for us musicians.

That is awesome that Andre likes hockey. D could care less. I took him to a Ice Hog game (minor legue) he was like it was all right.

Yes Chicago is so expensive to live in. That is why we stay 2 nights around Christmas every year. Halsted is a nice area. I love the Lincoln park area too. How long does it take to get to Chicago from Saint Louis?

Goodnight Jomo!! Have a goodnight with your husband.

It takes less then an hour by air. Roughly 6 by car, train, or bus. If we take Megabus, we can both go round trip for around $27.50. It's awesome.

Today was so nice.

We bought pumpkins and carved them. Mine was a bat. Andre's was a much more difficult skull.

Andre made rice and peas with spinners. MMMMMmmmmmm.

And the kids made us watch the Wizards of Waverly Place marathon. UGH!

He's gone to work and I'm working on some cards for my pen pal. Sometime, I need to start on my cousin's baby scrapbook now that I know she is having a boy.

I am so in the Halloween mood. We made tentative plans to all dress up, hand out candy to the neighborhood kiddies and then go see Saw 5 at a late show on Friday. I'm more excited then the kids I think.

Hi, Ja English, how is your job coming along?

Really liking it!Get free dental, free health insurance, extra time by clocking in early etc....My husband is pushing me to apply for other jobs paying more, but I really want to stay a while....I'm doing insurance billing which normally you have to go to school for, so I think a year of experience would be great for me careerwise....

English, the picture is adorable.

Thanks!!

Hadn't taken any for ages before this one.....
