alright ladies.. my name is CHAQUANA.. I know.. but I like it..didn't get teased too bad...

okay working for SSA I have seen some crazy things..

one this lady said she was tired of people mispronouncing her child's name..

it was spelled Le-a

could it be lea, laya, maybe just lee..

no ma'am it was ledasha.. she said the dash is not silent...okay this other guy, couldn't blame it on his parents..

he had changed his name as an adult to..ready..

Shawn Shan Sean

Ladies, he was at my window and I was like this dyam fool!! they outta not let just anybody be eligible to change their name.. he looked normal enough, but he was obviously one of honey's patients.

That was too funny but I thought I heard that story somewhere else or in an email. Maybe i got it from someone else who also works for the SSA!:lol:

Hey Yall!

WE GOT THE VISA IN HAND!!

I cant believe it was soo fast!! I told Evan way before we got the interview that he would be here by Halloween and now it came tru, and he will be here for his bday. I am so joyed and FREAKED OUT!! This is the real deal. I am really married, haha. I cant wait for the weekend. I was able to get time off work next week too in short notice. It pays to keep the boss man informed on this situation, cuase they all have been cheering me on.

I am so excited you guys. I need to go find a plane ticket now.

Lita - we are equally excited!!!! I hope it is all you have dreamed of and more. (F)

girl FOR REAL.. maybe this lady was trying to be funny, cuz honestly I couldn't believe she would do her child like that but u get crazy stories all the time. She was calling on the phone talking bout she needed a replacement card and how to get it, easy enough right.. then she start talking bout her child have the hardest time w/ her name blah blah blah.. i just was like

AND then the ones that have NEVER changed their child's name on the BC and they are

Baby Girl Smith for the rest of their life.. we have high school students that finally come and have their name changed cuz they can't get a job. They mama call them Helen or Theresa but never went and changed the BC!!!!
