Lita,

Where you able to go upstairs to Airpak with Evan? They wouldn't let me go up there.

Can't have just anybody knowing their delivery secrets, you know!

They let Lawny up there. They left me standing outside for 30 mins by myself.

Nope I couldnt go up either. How stupid. it only took him like 5 mins though. Like I said....not many people were needing airpak that day.

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Claire, what's your opinion on flu shots - do you think regular people who are normally healthy should get one?

Hey Island; I think that everyone should get the flu shot. We give it to everyone from 9 yo and up including pregnant women. Younger kids get the mist in their nostrils. There is no criteria for getting it like the pneumonia vaccine. The Flu vaccine is all inclusive. I gave it to my kids too, because the flu itslef can be a killer and even if you get a reaction the the shot, it is only mild in comparison to the flu itself. The vaccine is a dead virus and it technically cannot give you the flu, just prevent you from having a bad illness that can potentially kill you.

Thanks for the advice Claire. The Holiday Inn gives it to employees for free so I guess I'll go get the stick.

I alwauys here about the flu shot but am always weary about getting it. I dont get the flu so maybe thats why. i think people who are prone to the virus should get it, but those who dont have a history of getting the flu shouldnt inject themselves with the shot.

I'm going to go get the shot next week. My job is giving them away free but I want Dwayne to get one with me so we are doing the free one at CVS. I'm an advocate for the flu shot because I got my first one last season and before then I'd always get the flu during the winter maybe 5 times. I envy those who don't get it but when I got the shot last year no flu!!! I will continue to get the shot as long as they give them.

marlita what's next sweetie??

i think u are the first spouse visa vjer that i have known "kind of" personally..

when will he be here? will u get to have a lil 2nd honeymoon period or no?

I know u had a lil party b4 here in the states, will u have another now that hubby is here?

claire, i am so sorry about mike.. much love here when u need it..

So I want a party kinda and then I am like screw these people. As u know some of the fam was not all supportive at first, but now they all on board and been looking at halls for us to have a reception party and I am like do i really wanna spend money for a party with these folks who let me down in the beginning? If they are not paying for it, it aint happening. I do want to have a party tho. My friends and parents are wanting me to have a party but we'll see. I had reserved a place for Oct 18, but of course he didnt make it here in time. So now we are close to the holidays. I just want to have a dance.

I'm taking a week off when he gets here and we are just gonna be tourists in LA. It should be fun. It will just be nice to know that we are done with immigration for awhile.

oh..here it is! i missed this! Thats a good idea!!!

Oh boy! Yeah I think i havent had a bad flu for years! More when i was little. When I was an adult it was a few years back and lasted like 2-3 days tops. I think Evan will be prone to get it cause he's always conjuring up illnesses in himself that I think he sometimes makes himself sick.
