Tre, Mrs. Palmer and Jawi876 how are you ladies doing today? Mrs. P. I hope your wedding anniversary was very special for the two of you.

Hey Rox...our anniversary was WONDERFUL...the entire week couldn't have been more perfect...except for the fact that we couldn't get to Ochi to meet everyone :( On our actual anniversary he woke me up at 5:30 am to tell me Happy Anniversary. And then we talked for the next hour or so about the past year, and what positive changes we wanted to make for the next year coming up. He was so cute, telling me how completng marrying me had been for him, and how he wanted to live the rest of his life showing me how much I meant to him. Then he ordered me to stay in bed while he cooked breakfast, and served me in his undies and a smile ;) Later in the day we packed a lunch and a bottle of champagne, and walked down to the beach. It was so relaxing, and intimate on our little section of the beach. It was perfect. And we were abl to talk and talk and just enjoy each other. Later that night we just stayed in, ate dinner, and watched movies. The perfect end to a perfect day. I do love that man, and will spend the rest of my life showing him just how much. (L)

Mrs. P, that was so special, love like that don't always comes around.

No it doesn't Rox...and it has been a long time coming for the both of us. I just feel so blessed to be his wife. I know alot of people probably feel like because he's the foreigner, or the "poorer" one, then it should only be him feeling that way, but that is SO not true. We both pray to God each day and night to continue to sustain and nurture our love. It's a feeling that I pray that everyone up here is blessed with.

awwww... that is so sweet....lol

one thing i thought was kind of cute was me and D left the round robin to go to his house, so we are walking thru the district at night, with cars zooming past us, and packs of wild dogs barking at us and im in the midst of an anxiety attack, while Dwayne hasnt bust a sweat...LOL.. then we cut thru a neighbors yaad, climb up a hill or so it seemed, under a bridge over a fence across a creek, i was like OMG... all the whilst in my cute sandals and booty shorts, Dwayne was lighting the path with his lighter for me....HHAHA anyway we get to his house and we are surrounded by banana trees and ackee trees and we could see the ocean from where we were standing, it was quiet outside except for the peenywallies and then he turned on some music and just held me, i couldnt do a thing but cry... but it made me feel so special in that moment.. since i kept bawling, he said we had to go back to the party cause i was making him weak with my tears, but it was a nice touch to our last night together.

your right Mrs P, though dwayne doesnt have much, he makes an effort to make things special for me and i love him for it.

And this is all that really matters Honey. He sounds like a great man, and I am happy for the two of you! I thought that you were going to take your sons down on your next trip?

i am really trying to wait until spring break for that tomisha, so that they dont miss school, what me and dwayne decided on is definitely we will file K1, but because he has extended family and i dont, we are going to do a commitment ceremony on the beach in April which is spring break, so that my boys can come down, any of my family and friends that want can come and he will have access to his family, friends and coworkers as well. that will be as close to a wedding as i get i guess, and then when he gets to the states, we will just go in front of a judge.

my oldest son may not make it long enough to see april if he keeps on walking round here like he is the shyt...LOL

Honey, we haven't left you, I was just composing another e-mail. I agree with Mrs. P, Dewayne sounds like a good guy. Yes, wasn'yt you going to take your sons down to meet D, on this next trip.

I'm taking Brycie to Joel in February and I am going to leave her with him for two weeks, ha ha, that's what he wants but Brycie is not his child so that will be impossible.

If spirit keeps running those 9.00 dollars flights, we all might be able to come to you'll committment ceremony.

roxcie that would be cool. I keep thinking i can see him in some white linen, barefoot and me in something summery and white on the beach in the sand, surrounded by family and friends. It just cant get any better than that...

i also told him when i come in january im doing two days at his place and three or 4 at a resort. I said i will bring a box fan ( yep, yall know about me and my fan) a couple of shirts and shorts, some dvds, a few magazines and some snacks, thats all i need. I will have the kids in the yaad, the rooster and whoever else to keep me company while he is at work.

Jawi, I HATE petty stuff. Sucks, I got to much on my plate, like trying to save my business in the rough economic, then dealing with small issues. But I love talking to my sista, sista.

I feel you. Keep yo head up...(doing my best Tupac impression)....

Oh ok...the commitment ceremony sounds nice...just be careful about presenting any of that info or pics to immigration as "proof of your relationship". I've read elsewhere on the forum that some consular officers are suspicious of those types of ceremonies and can delay your process to do more "investigating" to make sure that you are not trying to get over on them  BTW, are we all gonna be invited as well?
