Pumpkin Trifle:

* 2 (14-ounce) packages gingerbread mix

* 1 (5.1-ounce) box cook-and-serve vanilla pudding mix

* 1 (30-ounce) can pumpkin pie filling

* 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

* 1/3 teaspoon ground cardamom or cinnamon

* 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping

* 1/2 cup gingersnaps, optional

Directions

Bake the gingerbread according to the package directions; cool completely. Meanwhile, prepare the pudding and set aside to cool. Stir the pumpkin pie filling, sugar, and cardamom into the pudding. Crumble 1 batch of gingerbread into the bottom of a large, pretty bowl. Pour 1/2 of the pudding mixture over the gingerbread, then add a layer of whipped topping. Repeat with the remaining gingerbread, pudding, and whipped topping. Sprinkle of the top with crushed gingersnaps, if desired. Refrigerate overnight. Trifle can be layered in a punch bowl.

No quoting is fine and usually my goal. But, sometimes I want to make sure it's known what I am referring to.

Same here. I think if people delete the parts of the posts that they are NOT referring to it will cut down on things...or the quotes within quotes within quotes.

with sus recipe i would mix my pumpkin pie filling with a tub of cream cheese and then add it, i love cream cheese

ok my camera is packed in my hospital bag already i hope it works! it was not workin too good during the shower. Anyone recommend a good laptop? I refuse to buy a dell again i hate the one i have.

It was so so so good - Years ago, when I decided I was a grownup and should actually cook something for Thanksgiving, lol - My mom asked me to do the pumpkin pie - for the first time in his life, My Dad ate it, and every year after that I was stuck and had to make it - he would never eat it if someone else did it. I fed that man everything, lol - one year I couldn't find pumpkin so I made sweet potato - never told him, he still ate it!

When he passed away, I didn't want to do the pumpkin pie - so I made this instead.

A just cares that we get 2 days off from work (plus it usually falls on/near his birthday), get to eat lots of yummy food and go Black Friday shopping Last year you should have seen us - making jerk steak on the BBQ on the porch in the snow for thanksgiving

my work laptop is the bomb, it is a fujitsu lifebook t series with blue tooth capability, plus it has a swivel screen that you can fold down flat and write on the screen with a stylus pen and it is small. i love it , my own computer is a lenovo which i think is an IBM brand and it sucks azz

Honey, Thanksgiving is an American Holiday - iother countries have similar things, like I know Canada has a Thanksgiving - but it's a different day.

Nope. They celebrate different holidays than we do (ie Heroes Day etc) but no Thanksgiving or Halloween.
