rox they are at that age where if i take one the other will be jealous...LOL... im thinking both at the same time so he can see how they are and interact with them both, plus so they can keep each other occupied and experience JA together and enjoy it together,if they can stop fighting one another long enough

I was thinking like this trip could be special for the 15, sinc ehe will be turning 16 and that is a special age. What he would want to do in JA, the younger one will not be game for it. At 16, girl watching is a sporting event. At 10 girl watching is no fun.

Island you should be off to bed, and why are you driving 4 hours to an airport? Why don't you just fly from the nearsest airport near you. Do you have to drive to JFK for all of your flights out of town?

It's wicked expensive to fly from Albany - plus I would have to have 2-3 connections. I just find it easier to drive down on my own schedule and save $300 and take a direct to JA.

I only drive to JFK for JA flights, otherwise I fly locally.

island i just wanted to take the time to know him better before i sprung my kids on him and my oldest will be 16 in january so it will be kinda like a birthday gift for him...LOL

That's a nice gift and smart thinking on your part. You have to be very careful about who you bring into your children's lives. Stripper Jr is going to have a blast down there!!

They told me that dicgel in JA have prepaid internet minutes and phone cards for blackberry. I didn't buy this one- unlock, I will never buy another lock phone again.

Maybe i will volunteer to get kicked off a flight, as when i go back in the new year i want to take my sons and the airfare alone for the three of us is gonna cost us a about a grand

I don't know if it's worth all the hassle Honey. I got to the MBJ airport, and the Delta rep asks if I would like to voluntarily bump to a later flight with AJ. I said it's for today? What time will it arrive in Atlanta? Really, cool. She said Okay we are going to send you upstairs to the Delta loading gate. The rep will give you your credit voucher after they complete boarding, and you will be given a ticket for AJ.

I sat up there for an hour...then they told me I had to go back downstairs to the Delta check in counter, but they only way back down was back through customs and immigration. Of course I got stopped for unauthorized entry. A Delta rep had to talk to the manager of each section. Then, I had to walk back outside the airport...through the parking lot and back into the airport. The Delta counter gave me a packet with my credit vouchers, took the stickers off my bags and sent me to AJ counter. I get to AJ counter and they don't have a record of me in the system. I raised holy he l l, and they got a Delta supervisor to come over to straighten everything out. I was so tired and frustrated. The entire process took 3 hours...then I had to wait for my flight.

Jawi, I saw this happen to a lady when I was flying out of Kingston in July. This must happens often, I saw a whole flight on AJ get cancelled, I was so glad I was not flying on AJ.

So Island, how do you handle the 4 hour drive back home when you returrn from JA. When I am returning home, I am too tired to care about anything, but getting home to my own bed.
